Don't care about Falcao. Shaqiri and Podolski would be a hell of a mercato. But we probably only have the money for one, if that.
shaqiri is not possible

LLorente
Podolski - Tevez - Pereyra
Pogba - Vidal
Evra - Chiellini - Barzagli - Licht

Morata
Coman - Marchisio - Romulo
Pirlo - Vidal
Asamoah - Ogbonna - Bonucci - Caceres
one simply cannot say that we dont have a ton of quality, despite the cb depth, when looking at this team

wow. some major mismatches there. romulo AMR? hahaha
What's to laugh about? He's done it before. As he himself said, he can play anywhere in the right flank. He's quick, can dribble and is offensive minded, with a little training can learn how to play that role.

That team is flawed as hell, especially the way he positioned them.
What would you change?

I'd change a lot actually. I would not field Podolski and Pereyra from start. I would not bench Pirlo.

Vidal - Pirlo - Asamoah
Pogba
Llorente - Tevez

Personally i don't think Pogba fits the role of a AM/Trequartista. He was never much of a creator, one that dictates offensive plays. He's more of a supporter with a good shot and individual skills. We don't have a true Trequartista but even Marchisio is better choice.

About the 4-2-3-1, well, it's not gonna happen. It was more of a pipe dream suggestion, really. The thing is if we ever intend to use it in the future, sacrifices will have to be made and one of them is getting ready of the dying regista role. Pirlo would be a big liability.

1. So what that he can? The fact is that he is fucking awful at it.
2. No, he can't. Not at the level that we need him to do it.

this is far worse then what he posted

But romulo is a cm yeah

What level is that? Pepe level? Cause i don't know if you noticed that's what we have.
first of all, this

second, are we bitching about the ideal position for the substitutes ?

fine, here is the correction

LLorente
Podolski - Tevez - Pereyra
Pogba - Vidal
Evra - Chiellini - Barzagli - Licht

Morata
Coman - Marchisio - Pepe
Pirlo/Romulo - Vidal
Asamoah - Ogbonna - Bonucci - Caceres

there

Its simple.
Coman prefers cam, but has all the abilities to thrive on the wing
Pereyra can play any both central and wing positions as attacking midfielder
Romulo is a cm, and offers a less defensively, more creative/offensive substitute for the starting cm's, and this is something we wanted to get Guarin for last year.

Cause when we arent breaking the opponent, its nice to sacrifice one of the 3cm's, for less defence but more offensive penetration

The reason i didn't put Pepe there is cause i really don't trust him yet. Even for a sub on the right flank i still don't buy that "he's back" and i think on talent alone Romulo surely will overpass him.

I remember his Cruzeiro days as a RB, he was a very offensive one, one could say he was almost a WB. In an emergency he could do an even more offensive role but only if really needed, like Marchisio as AM. For what we have i'd rather take the chance with Romulo on the right flank than Pepe but that's me.

All in all, imo we'll only be able to go 4-2-3-1 when Pirlo is gone or get at least 2 or 3 more wingers (seeing that atm Podolski is still an Arsenal player and we're yet to see how good Pereyra AND Coman can be). There's the possibility of Berardi having another good season and coming back next year, so there's one. The truth is we're not ready for that formation yet.

- Barzagli is recovering quicker that it was expected and he may start training with the rest of group soon - Tuttosport
- Podolski was proposed to us and we have an oral agreement with him concerning contract. Arsenal want to sell the player outright, whereas we prefer to loan him - Agresti
- We have been working on Shaqiri for months, and our first proposal is 2/3m for loan with the right to redemption for another 15m. Bayern want 23m at least, so there is difference in expectations but it is possible we gonna reach the compromise and meet halfway - Agresti/Di Marzio
- We have been monitoring Gaudino, and if the player doesn't renew the contract with Bayern, we will try to snatch him - Agresti
- Falcao said after yesterday's game that he is going to stay at Monaco - Laudisa
- Shaqiri, Podolski and Lavezzi, these are names we are working on - Agresti
