did Bayern sell Ballack, did Bayern sell Ribery?

also Kroos wasn't even part of the invincible Bayern team of 12/13... Bayern peaked after his injury in the first leg against Juventus. imo Kross should have been benched in 4-2-3-1 until Schweinsteiger retires. He isn't nearly as important to Bayern as Vidal is to Juve. Vidal is Juve's best player.
Bayern didnt sold Ballack, but he refused a contract extension, because he asked for higher wages and a team able of winning the CL. Bayern was shit during the last decade: 2001-2010 they never passed the quarter-finals and they got raped by milan (and inter) many times.

Real wanted to sign Ribery at one point, but then Perez droped the idea of signing ribery cuz of his sex-scandal. real had benzema, that was enough.

yes, you are right. vidal is more important to juve than kroos to bayern. nevertheless kroos is a world-class CM. thiago is injured all the time and schweinsteiger is past his prime. bayern tried to keep kroos, but he refused their contract-offer cuz of the salary.
according to german media bayern offered him 3,5-4 mio. net (7-8 mio. gross), but he asked for 6 mio net (12 mio. gross) like bayerns top-earners ribery and götze. so he refused the contract offer and went to madrid.

even if vidal should go, juventus isnt a feeder or selling club. we havent sold a star since zidane in 2001 (calciopoli in 2006 excluded).

bayern sold ballack, hargreaves, kroos. ManU sold beckham, v. nistelrooy, ronaldo. arsenal sold vieira, nasri, song, rvp and many more. dortmund sold kagawa, sahin, götze, lewandowski (and next year they will lose reus and gundogan too).

If Vidal leaves, its because Vidal wants to leave. It's clear that as long as he wants to stay here we'll keep him but if he demands wages like the supposed Manchester United offerings of 8-10M or he's going to MU then he is as good as gone. We cannot afford that.

I would be heartbroken if we lose Vidal, he's the soul of this team really. But like Marotta says at the end of the day its the will of the player that matters the most. If he wants to leave, I support him and wish him all the best. I just hope we are compensated well for this transfer.

I'd also like to say that I'm pretty sure Vidal is gone. Or at least there's an ongoing deal in the background. Even if he doesn't leave this summer, he was definitely talking to MU and working on something. Everytime he was asked about his future he was so coy and ambiguous. He has never come out and said "I am definitely staying at Juventus. I am very happy here." It has always been like "I am a Juve player for now. I'm not sure on my future." In so many words.

Anyways, I hope he stays but I think he's pushing for a move and I don't blame him. Even if MU doesn't have CL this season, they are fucking MU. Of course a player would love to play for them still, and earn double the wages while they're at it.

It's all about the money.

In case we sell Vidal, why do we need to find a player similar to him for replacement?? We have 4 players capable of filling that spot (Marchisio, Asamoah, Pereyra, Romulo). Look Di Maria case, he is a winger who performed at a top level when placed as CMF, why can't we use Asamoah like that? He has the speed, dribbling, skill and long range shot to be a top CMF as well.

I disagree that someone like isco wouldn't want to play with us, his situation is like morata, he is wasted there.

Sure if other clubs$ are in the race we may lose but if we push hard enough we still have chance to get someone like him

Substituting vidal with mediocre players however, unacceptable at this point; I'd go as far as actually paying madrid 20m + vidal for isco than spending the money we get from united for guarin and 3rd rate backup cb or 5th forward and the likes

When will this stupid "we need depth" excuse end?

Selling your best player to united for a normal fee, makes you a seller team

Selling a player for 80+mil, makes you a good negotiator
That conclusion is way too easy... It depends on age, form, position, gulf in class between clubs, etc... Vidal is injured at the moment, he's a midfielder and nearing 30 already... Pogba is worth 80+ after a good season. Vidal simply is not.

And that is an extra reason NOT to sell him. Still nothing we can do when he demands it...

Vidal needs to stay at all costs. He's arguably the best centre mid in the world and he's ours. I don't care if he likes United or not, he's clearly happy here and it's in our best interest to keep him. This isn't comparable to the Zidane transfer because in the current market there aren't enough available world class players that we could realistically sign to compensate for losing Vidal. The names being thrown around like Jovetic, Lavezzi and Isco aren't going to improve us the way Buffon, Thuram and Nedved did. I'd love to get a proper winger or trequartista but not if it means losing Vidal.
This!

A good negotiator is one who is capable of convincing his best player to stay even if he had gotten better offers.

THIS.

If we have the money for a WC-player, we are able to bring in a WC-player as well. even a much smaller club like napoli brought higuain in at the time they had the required money (40 mio. EUR).

If Isco would be available, there is a chance of getting him. Unfortunately i doubt, that real intends to sell him. pastore is much more likely.

PSG already denied Pastore's availability. Still think Lavezzi is much more likely to leave and seeing him and Tevez roaming around Llorente would definitely give us an extra edge.

Asamoah IS a CM that has been forced out wide, so yes he would happily return. Although, he recently stated that he would play wherever the coach wants him to play. He has also on several occasions as late as during this WC stated that he do not want to play out wide. Short answer to your suggestion: Yes, it is possible! ;) Pereyra is very versatile while I have not seen Romulo play from what I've heard it seems like he could play CM.

I don't think Vidal would leave, I don't think Marotta and co. are that stupid. They know it's big money, but they also know that finding replacement that is equally good or better will be very tough and take much time. Without a plan b, they won't, I hope, do it. I hope that if we for some reason suddenly decide to take the cash that we do not splash the cash on 10 Padoins and hope that 1 of them turn out an average joe.

If David Luiz is worth 50M pounds then Vidal has to be sold for 60M euro's + . I don't think I've seen a more complete midfielder and versatile player. Some of the figures I've been seeing are criminal but not beyond Marotta.

Morata is a kid who has everything to prove.
Isco is a big name that got quite the attention when he went to madrid.

What you said there is criminal. I know you dont give a fuck about defensive qualities, but swapping vidal +CASH, for a player who is inferior to him, is just batshit insane.

About depth, you couldnt be more wrong. We have an awesome starting 11. Very hard to upgrade there. The issue last year was Conte using the same squat over and over cause the depth wasent enough. This resulted in the players beeing mentally and physically fatigued at the end of the season. This needs to change. So for that reason, depth will be critically important to us.

But i understand someone like you would sell every defensive player for inferior flair and fancy, and blame marotta if he doesnt do it.

Vidal is not worth the money that would allow us to get a replacement.

For that simple reason, we should not sell Vidal cause it will allways be a loss for us.

Yet his NT decided to field him as a leftback a few times. Cause he simply is excellent as a defensive leftwing.

IF marotta was thinking to sell vidal, we would hear reports about the replacements he'd scout or negotiate with, or the players he'd want to get with that cash.
Thats not happening, so you can stop the "he isnt that stupid" bullshit.

I was responding to the question if he can play CM and added that he has addressed it himself, he prefers CM. I am not saying he is poor wing back, as far I can see.
Regarding Vidal; You're just repeating what I wrote. So...
