we really should consider inter's ricky alvarez
Alvarez for 12m is a bargain IMO

He's not really that good. Even to be exchange with Isla
Don't really overestimated Alvarez, he really flop in Inter

At least Isla have several good season in Italy with Udinese, fundamental part with National Team Chile
And what is Alvarez to justify his value more..

People here do tend overvalue players in other clubs like Alvarez (12m)
But undervalued our players like Isla, even Bonucci
And raging when Marotta buy Pereyra for loan and installment up to 16m (4years) based on performance
Also Morata (20 m in 3 installments) for players with lots of success with Spain u-21, u-19 team

Soooo

First team is exactly the same of last year.

Bench is different:

2014----2013
Storari

Romulo > Isla (that's what I expect at least)
Caceres
Ogbonna
Evra > Peluso

Padoin
Marchisio
Pereyra > 0

Giovinco
Morata > Quagliarella (that's what I expect; at least in terms of potential and hunger)
Coman = Vucinic (at least for now; Vucinic was washed up, he barely was an option last year. And can't really count on Coman yet - so both are non options)

Soooo we didn't improve the first team; but the squad looks better with the addition of Pereyra, who looks like a capable sub of Vidal; Evra for Peluso; Romulo for Isla; Morata for Quags. That's basically it. We still have glaring needs in AM and W, players with creativity and pace. And we are really thin upfront.

We will play 4 man defence imo.Evra didn't come to be on the bench.
we will dump the 3-5-2 soon imo.
Hopefully. I think that's what Conte was planning to do anyway. Allegri shouldn't continue with the 352 - I don't think he's capable of doing it properly.

We need at least one am/winger though. We need to move that one man from defense to midfield/attack and that player has to be capable of producing something upfront. 352 is very Pirlo and especially Tevez dependent, we're not going anywhere with it anymore.

Just dump the stupid idea of bringing in another defender. Instead of bringing in another useless forward, gather the money, offload Isla and/or Padoin and invest in someone ffs. Even an inconsistent am/winger would do for us because we don't have players capable of creating chances.

I rather Alvarez than Guarin.

Also I think all this talk about a quality attacking midfielder coming is bogus. I think we'll be seeing Pereyra as a trequartista a lot next season. Who knows maybe he'll turn out to be good?
