Nope, they havent sold Benatia, but their spending has been minimal with freebie's and loans, they should be able to sign Iturbe without selling at the current point.
Roma is already stretched. I think they'll have to sell him.

They've been covering their cash burn through (1) player sales (2) equity injections. The UCL will help, but they'll still have to sell players to avoid having to inject capital in the business.

Yes they have cash from CL this time around, and they can still sell Llajic. I think they will sell Benatia too, mainly cause the player wants to leave. Garcia tried to talk him out but it didn't work.
Once they sell Benatia, they will be further signings. And they also sold Dodo for a decent price. Iturbe would be one of the signings for CL.

The worst thing about this is that we will have to fuck with the transfers sagas until end of mercato now, not sure if im mentally strong enough to bear it.

I'd give carrera a chance for this season. Hes got charachter, been there for a long time, knows the players and is an EX juventus player.

Then wait for next season to get a top coach if he doesn't do well.
Maybe someone like garcia or simeone ?
