Giovinco, Coman, maybe Pepe and probably one other is all we need
Giovinco is worse then dogshit

Coman is a big talent, but unproven and at the moment far from a starter

Pepe is a massive questionmark

just getting sanchez leaves us very tin with no bench for the centreforward position, and a gigantic loss in quality when replacing a winger. Not to mention Tevez is a very very bad winger so this formation would be inferior to the 352.

It's closer to 40 million (37.7) since its in pounds. That was the most recent figure I saw. If you have a better # that is reliable, I'll plug it in and post a revised chart,
If its in pounds then the prices for iturbe and morata are to high.

Last i heard was 41mil (euro) for sanchez, 18-20 morata, 21-23 iturbe

Morata and Iturbe are both in Euro. If you look at the chart I directly took the figures cited and standardized them all. So for Sanchez the figure reported was in pounds. I saw 30 million (but now it looks like its 35). For the other two the figures were in Euro, so I recorded those. Directly beneath the reported figure I convert them all to euro regardless of the the reported currency. With the increases fee to 35 million pounds, the NPV falls to -69 million for Sanchez making it about ~6 million euro more expensive than Morata + Iturbe.

Good chart, but Moratas and Iturbes fees would be paid in installments, so wouldn't completely account for year 0 in the chart. Doesn't make any difference for the final NPV, but it's an advantage for option 2 and 3.
That's completely true and in one of the other threads I noted this. It would actually cause the NPV to increase (time value) for 2&3 assuming that 1 didn't get the benefit of instalments. A three year payable for example would reduce the NPV to -54 million, which actually is a material improvement.

Why are Sanchez's wages gross, while Morata's and Iturbe's net?
Where are you getting that from? This may be my lack of knowledge of football reporting of wages.

I assumed all were pre-tax wages. I saw Sanchez's were rumoured at 100,000 pounds per week, which I converted to Euro and annualized.
The figures I saw rumoured for Iturbe and Morata were 2 an 2.2 million Euro per year, so I plugged those directly in the model.

In Italy wages are reported net, while in England media report gross amounts.

@Mark , is this true

    Edit :

Atletico Madrid target Udinese’s Simone Scuffet. The 18-year-old goalkeeper won everybody over last season, with his personality and his talent. In the next 48 hours, it will be decided whether or not he’ll move to Spain. Atletico offered €5M, the fee could raise up to €10M with the add.ons. If he signs for Atletico Madrid, he would be initially loaned to another Spanish club .
That's what I saw yesterday on his show. Don't know if others reported it.

Giovinco is actually decent for LW and I'm sure Coman can be good enough for Serie A.

We could always get another CF as well and not one which is so expensive like Morata. At the moment it looks like it will be Iturbe-Llorente-Tevez so I don't see what the difference in quality for wings off the bench will be. lol Tevez is not close to a bad winger, he plays more of an inside foward role anyway and there is no way

    This:

    Buffon
    Licht-Barza-Chiello-Evra
    Vidal-Pirlo-Pogba
    Sanchez-Llorente-Tevez

    is worse than

    Buffon
    Barza-Bonu-Chiello
    Licht-Vidal-Pirlo-Pogba-Asa
    Llorente-Tevez
