He is better than every other player we are linked with, but his prospective transfer was a complete non starter to begin with - economically impossible to do, especially once the EPL clubs came sniffing for him.

And TBH, I am actually quite excited with the young players we are signing. Juventus was always a club which produced big players. We can have a few new stars on our hands in the future.

Nah not only that IMO. We've had a problem with LB since forever. It was logical to include a young player from our ranks as a cover for the position but giving him 1.3m net salary was a joke.

Yeah and didn't we stupidly extend his contract? We just need to rid ourselves of De Ceglie and Motta ASAP. They are a harsh reminder (to me anyway) of the Secco/Blanc/Ferrara/Zac/Delneri years

Ferreira Carrasco is set to leave Ligue 1. The winger is pursued by Juventus and Roma, giallorossi are in the lead. The contract of the 20-year-contract winger expires in 2015 and he has no intention of renewing him.
