Wouldn't it prove then that Conte's aspirations for reinforcements were a lot bigger and unrealistic?
Sanchez and Manduzic alone = 50 mil minimum, that's a huge number. I doubt that Conte asked for Suarez+Cavani type of shit, just that list you made you'd revolutionize this side.

Exactly.
Why would he ask for Cavani and Suarez knowing our financial situation and repeatedly talked about it to the media !?
Some ppl really love to throw stupid logic around and would do.anything to make Conte look like a villain here i suppose.

Mandzukic is not necessary, we have Llorente.

Sanchez, Nani, Pereyra and Lulic would be enough for me. That's around 50-55mln for all of them.

It'll be hilarious if Conte leaves and we end up signing the likes of Sanchez, Nani, Pereyra, and Mandzukic, all very good/excellent players that would improve us instantly.
Like that'll happen, even if Conte stayed.

Though I wouldn't be averse to the possibility of Mandzukic if Barca want to take Llorente off out hands for 18-20m.

I am undecided about a such scenario.

I like them both, though Llorente a little bit more since he is our player. :D

As I've said we don't know what these guys are discussing behind the closed doors. I doubt that he's requested high profile names ala Di Maria or Cavani, even though he likes to throw them around every once in a while, just to remind us that we're still very much behind the elite and occasionally as an excuse for failed European campaign. In reality he doesn't need these to beat Galata, Benfica or FCK, as our current squad, with right mentality of course, has sufficient quality to dispose sides vastly inferior than us. What we could have heard is that he's worried that some players might become complacent and some are indeed rather old, thus it might be hard for these to find the motive for further challenges, if their deteriorating physical state won't be a burden by itself. Therefore I believe that the future objectives might be where Conte and our upper levels of mgt don't exactly agree and he might be asking for less pressure if these aren't met, as we don't have finances to replace suitably that many players all at once.

IN

Evra, Pererya, Sanchez, Nani, Menez (Need that depth for a 4-3-3)

Any dealings with Udinese and the likes can involve some young players and co-ownership deals, so it can potentially involve little cash

Nani can be purchased with the Immobile money we're undoubtedly going to get.

Evra and Menez are free. Their wages more than covered by our players moving on

Sanchez 20M budget + 5-10M player sales.

That's definitely realistic. Unless somebody is going to suggest that we don't have 20M of our own cash to spend
