Huh? Don't you remember how well we played that first season with Conte using the 433? Our movement was so smooth and much less predictable than now. Pirlo played and he was a big reason for that. I don't think his 2 years older will play that much of a difference since his play doesn't require pace.
We were mostly drawing games with the 433, and Marchisio was doing alot of defensive work back then. We switched 352 and we won the title, and the next 3.

We got pogba and vidal, beasting about and scoring goals. If you put Pirlo there, then at least 1 of them will be forced to play deeper to protect the defence, and make us less prone to counters trough the center.

Now if you put marchisio, or a cdm/covering cm there, then Pogba and Vidal can keep on bringing the pressure to the opponents defence, and make forward runs and join the CF in attack, whilst Sanchez and Nani keep it wide.

So after all many "433 peasands" that were asking for and predicting 433 comeback long time ago were right :D Conte joins the clan and becomes a pesand :touched:

If we bring both Nani and Sanchez I'd accept selling Immobile but with sadness :( We could really make use of that guy. I've had hope in him since his early Pescara days.
You put your faith in an article of Mediaset ?

i'm sure their journalist is in our boardrooms, writing down the conversations

Its not about pace , in 4-3-3 when your rb/lb go forward your left with only 2 cb and pirlo ( cant defend ) , in a 3-5-2 we always have 3 at the back so much more cover for him .
That's not an issue. It's not like both fullbacks need to move forward. One would stay deeper with Cbs. Under Conte it's always have been like that.

Where do I put faith in mediaset? Can you read?

I think it's obvious Conte wants the switch. It's reported everywhere and even Marotta said we're looking for players that can play multiple positions. The switch to 433 can happen if Marotta manages to get players that are needed. We're strongly linked with wingers for a reason.

I'm not against Marchisio starting, obviously but I'm also not against Pirlo starting either. Both would be extremely productive. And depending on what Conte wants the outside forwards doing (tracking back, for example) would only benefit the support and opening up options for Pirlo. Marchisio can pass well but nothing like the accuracy of Pirlo and with us having nonstop pace and work output up top we need the accuracy of Pirlo otherwise the ball will always be played on the ground and a smart team will just cut the channels.

PLUS look at the connection Marchisio & Pirlo had in that half a season. Marchisio was most productive and effective when he was able to run into space in the box and open up defenses.

Idk why everyone wants Gabbiadini here. He is not a winger, he has been played out of position this whole season and he wont start at all here besides Coppa games.
He is a winger. He started to play very well when he was positioned as a right winger instead of lone striker. Up to this point he had been playing average.

Because he is our co-own and don't have to spend a penny to bring him over, he is versatile and Marotta is looking at that, and he can come as a reserve to our starters.

If he has to play 'out of position' at Sampdoria to get games, I don't think anyone wants him here as a starter. He can be backup player who can be in squad as a 3rd choice CF or 2nd choice inside forward/winger.

how much is his Sampdoria half going to cost though?? another €5.5m? also would he accept a squad player role.

yes we do, Sampdoria own the better half of the co-own, Juve can't have him play without paying for loan or the other half. different case for Berardi.
