Even if we're not able to spend 20M on a player, all I want is that Marotta and Conte look outside Italy. Please stop getting overpriced average Italians, the last one being Ogbonna.

Our most successfull transfer come from outside, Pirlo apart (Pogba, Vidal, Tevez, Llorente, Barzagli).

Please look overseas and look for youth..

So is Nani a done deal?
No, it was tuttosport.

But we are negotiating (wich means nothing really)

Considering the amount of promising 14-17 year olds we brought to our primavera, we are doing fine in that regard

When did i say i was confident abt sanchez signing? Stop putting words into my mouth.
I just said it could be a possibility esp. if we make good money of Immobile's sale not that i was sure it wud happen

Well if 3x champions of Italy, proud owners of our own stadium and now CL regulars can't afford a 15M player every Summer I fully expect the clubs below us to spend 10M between them. Otherwise we're just being cheap as fuck.

We just still got some players we are paying for, less income then expected, and wages going up, whilst needing to sign some other players aswel

Next summer will be different, but this one will be a quiet one. With reason. we dont want to become milan 2.0and forced to sell everything

I'm not expecting some ridiculous Madrid-esque Summer. But I want to see us make the right moves. Instead of buying 2 Pelusos because 'we can't compete with other clubs' we need to invest enough to improve the squad.

So what happens if Nani comes? 433 I assume?

So...

Buffon
Licht-barzagli-bonucci-cheillini
Vidal-pirlo-pogba
Nani-llorente-tevez

Not sure how it's gonna work. I assume we would need. LB?

Tevez wont be on the wing and yes we would need a Lb .

The thing is more than the budget its the formation change that is uncertain and rumoured , so its difficult to even know what path is the club going to take and make signings accordingly . Media keeps reporting that conte wants to change to a 4-3-3 but whenever he has been asked he says we play like this for 3 years now so we are comfortable with it .

Seriously?

Because we sign a 25mln player, we have to sell everything.

Talk about exaggerating.

If we stick to 3-5-2 without getting a PAIR of vastly superior attacking wing-backs then I give up hope of ever changing system in the forseeable future.
Lulic and peryra offer more in attack than lich and asa . I mean these kind of signings are looking more realistic now rather than sanchez di maria etc.

We will make the right moves and Marotta's words are not to be taken literally. It would be foolish if he went to the media to publicly announce our budget. Every player out there would be 20-30% more expensive.

Someone said Lulić for the wing, yeah right, he'd be no better than Asamoh or Licht. If we're gonna change to 4-3-3, than we need proper wingers for those spots.

Again people keep on insisting that we need to sell to afford our purchases, which simply isn't true of we go by the numbers from previous couple of years.

The fact is that in previous few years we needed to fill the gaps and thus most of mediocrity was brought. This summer we can afford 25m player and couple of bargain deals.

Like those idiots at Arsenal who announced to the world their exact budget for the summer transfer season last year. It's no wonder Arsenal is such a failure of a club. :sergio:

Yeah if our master plan is to give the ball to Lolic in the final 3rd instead of Licht we're idiots.

Seriously, the amount of attacking plays that go through our wing-backs is far too high for them not to be seriously skilled in attack. Against top teams anyway.

They would obviously not announce the budget but they are making sure fans dont expect sanchez di maria , its made clear every single time that they wont spend big . Infact marotta even said we will spend big next summer so its clear .
And yes lulic and peryra offer more in attack than asa and licht in a 3-5-2 .
Thats the point since we are not a selling club we wont sell thus we wont make big purchases either .
