Agnelli basically said last Christmas that Juve can spend and acquire champions if they'll fit our plans. Spending for the sake of it, as we've seen City and PSG continually practicing, won't ever be our strategy.

I may be wrong, but I think we heard that "we can buy champions, if..." thing a few times before. But when Beppe starts softening the blow before the mercato begins, it's time to take a cold bath.

Last capital raising were in 01/02 (Ipo), then 06/07 (after Calciopoli), then 11/12 (stadium), if it's goes by that 5 year trend then the next one should be 16/17 but by what reasoning is the question. if there is no strong reason, shareholders may not oblige.

Juve are expected to lose 30-40m this year, right? And our reserves were 45m before the start of the season iirc. That might be valid reason to invest. They'll undoubtedly dilute shares with that subscription, their prices will drop as we've seen in the last few years. Exor is 60% controlled by Agnelli and Co., so Elkan's word will be the last regarding this matter.

Not sure if you'd be able to answer this but if Exor were to invest, given their revenue increase, would it be a loan for us or would it just be an investment?

They would increase their ownership percentage in Juve, so it wouldn't be a loan. The only way to become an owner of a Joint stock company is to buy stocks.

yes about the loss and reserve situation but some other clubs have negative equity too without any FFP implication, although those clubs aren't publicly traded. I am not sure if that's a strong enough reason.

Also just to put it out there if people didn't actually read the post by GDM, he does mention that he thinks it will be difficult because of the ban but doesn't state anything about Sanchez wanting to stay at Barca.

Negative equity, or a loss? In Italy equity for the company of Juve's magnitude may drop to -4.5m, anything bellow and we'd have to declare bankruptcy iirc.

Add amortization to that list, and that is influenced by transfers.

And fuck FFP by all means. What PSG and City have been doing is outrageous.

Exactly as someone was stating above. Currently the wage isn't the problem because we will be freeing some wages up such as de ceglie, Quag, vucinic, motta, and possibly storari. The biggest concern at the moment is our budget.

IMO that would be Tevez case cuz after 3 years the player leaves and the 9m we paid amortizates like that, but in Sanchez case after the contract lenght the player wouldnt loose asset value
