Strangely enough, its not the wingbacks but the central midfielders that are the most tired

With pogba and vidal making forward runs and tevez hovering between llorente and the cm's, there isnt really a gap

352 is much less exhausting for wide players relatively speaking, cause players like licht and asamoah have more stamina then your average offensive winger, who'd have to work hard and track back pretty far in conte's gameplan

2 creative players and 2/3 who can make an action is definaty enough, if the defence and organisation is strong enough

The latter but I want Pogby and Nacho Vidal to still be a threat in front too or else the fake-fans will want them out and their value will fall.
That's up to the coach, but when we played 4-3-3 the first season with Conte, I liked both Marchisio,Vidal performance, they was going forward. And if im correct neither Chile or France play 3-5-2 and both Vidal and Pogba does it good. Even if Vidals scoring record isen't as good as in Juventus, he has scored some goals in his national team since joining Juventus. I believe that Conte would want Marchisio, Pogba, Vidal going forward. We would still dominate our games in Serie A so im sure they will get many chances to score. Don't you think 4-3-3 is a more balanced line up then a 3-5-2 (5-3-2) our team has Tevez upfront who can create something on his own.

I hope we get wingers, Griezmann, Di Maria, Lavezzi, Nani, Cerci, Cuadrado, Lamela, Menez. There are some options some harder to get some easier. But atleast it would give us the opportunity to swift formations.

Even though we know he's a bit stubborn i think he's right by not really trying different things this season. We don't the right players for it and from his point of view, if we had failed playing a different system, people would blame him for it.

Yet come next window, he's got to find players that will fit into a plan B. We need a plan B, that's adamant. Licht should have a chance to concentrate only on his defensive role as a RB and Asamoah as a centre-mid which IMO is where he plays his best. Keep 3-5-2 but switch things around when needed. Trial and error, Conte, trial and error.

I think Conte will switch between formations as he sees fit. 3-5-2 works well against teams that won't leave their own half (90% of Serie A), we might need another creative ST or CM to find and create spaces though.

The problem IMO is when we play stronger teams that will force us back in our own half, the wingbacks will offer no offensive work and it falls down to Pirlo/Tevez to make something out of nothing. There's the gap between our mid and attack.

Also I find 3-5-2 to be too exhausting for our wingbacks. It takes too much out of them. Conte needs to be more versatile for the sake of their fitness.
Good post, I agree with everything you said. In Italy our 3-5-2 is great, and is clearly giving us the results. But as you said it's another thing in CL

pogba vidal are supertired. they both compared up and down the pitch from box to box every match and they played most of the games. With absolute no rotation of midfielder, they are now not able to play as well as they did at the start of the season. We need at least 1-2 midfielders of good quality to rotate vidal and pogba often against teams like liverno so that they are fully fit against teams like roma and Napoli.

Tonny Vilhena is a nice option to have and he can really develop well in our 3 man midfield if given playing time. Same applied to Rossi and Rabiot. Instead of buying another padoin we should chase an U23 midfielder with good technique and potential.

Arsenal are set to reignite their interest in Vucinic and are willing to offer 12M.
    - CM

I doubt it, but that would be a nice chunk of change for Mirko.

Last year we did good in europe
This year we shot ourselves in the foot

Yet people blame a formation because it lacks the flair and fancy, and prefer a 433 , an outdated formation barely used, wich we have evolved past.

Next season will be a good test. Solid team, first team established and played in, hopefully no injuries, a good summer of rest for llorente

Yes 4-3-3 is gone, only Bayern, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona,(and others) still use it ( some have other formations to, but still play 4-3-3 often)

bayern plays 4123 recently, beeing buzy with 4141. And it absolutely sucks compared to the 4231 juggernaut from last year
    Chelsea plays 4231
Real madrid plays 4141 in an odd way.

Barcelona playd a 433 last season, got beaten to shit, and play some kind off asymmetric 442 this year

Since barcelona left the 433 path, nobody plays a true 433 anymore at the big stage. They all use modifications using the wing base, but try to find ways to hide the weaknesses of 433.

Thing is, every single team you'll find that does this, mostly has their best players on the wide area's. Wich is essential. A winger formation only works properly, if your wingers are amongst the 4 best players of the team.

At juventus, is completely impossible to achieve this. We have excellent quality in the central axis. If we'd sacrifice that for wingers, it would be inferior, as the wingers we can realistically get, are much less good then our central players, who now play inferior roles to support them.

So its eighter pogba and 352 for the time beeing, or no pogba and wingers.

The Chelsea story doing the rounds is basically that they'll have to sell before they buy, on Abramovich's orders. Hazard has even been included in that, as well as Oscar, plus all the strikers (Eto'o, Ba, Torres), as well as Lukaku, and potentially Courtois.

At this point it seems like a ridiculous story, but you could certainly see all the strikers plus Lukaku being sold to make way for 2-3 quality ones. It's debatable if we have a chance at Oscar, because if Chelsea are looking for cash to spend we are way behind potential other clubs.
they have to meet with the financial fair play rule, the likes of ba, eto and torres will raise about 20 -25 mill at most, lukaku probably another 15, whilst I think David Luiz will be the one that will be sacrificed and not the likes of hazard and oscar. I wouldn't be surprised to see Luiz end up at bayern unless barca can overturn the transfer ban
