Tevez could definitely play similar to Vucinic in 2011. However, he's too big of a goal threat to push out wide imo

4231 with Tevez playing second striker would be excellent. Providing we can get somebody like Cuadrado.

If we sell Pogba, replace Llorente. If not, might aswell keep him because Wingers are the priority

we should go for 4321 with:

Buffon
Litchsteiner Barzagli Chiellini Asamoah
Vidal Pirlo Pogba
Shaqiri Tevez
Llorente

This set up is like a fake 433 with shaqiri at right side of attack but tevez is in the AM/SS role so he is not technically out of position. only player there out of position is asamoah which does a good job at leftback anyways but we could get a proper leftback if wanted.

Shaqiri's situation isn't getting any better at Bayern we should chase him over any player.

I would take shaq but if our master plan is to push tevez out wide and bring in shaq then we're not improving.

We need one fantastic Winger or somebody like shaq with potential + a llorente upgrade

no in a 4321 u would play both shaqiri and tevez in AM which is tevez's best position and shaqiri can play there comfortably. if you compare that t a 352 we are only dropping bonucci and bringing in shaqiri instead. that's a good improvement.

A) He wouldn't be an AM
B) That's not his best position
C) Llorente STILL wouldn't have a supply of crosses considering Tevez would be cutting in
D) Pinning all of our hopes on Shaqiri alone would be madness

Bayeren could sell shaqira for 50-60mill considering they dont need nor want to sell their interesting backup.

So if we sell pogba, we could afford Shaqiri.

Brilliant stuff rakib

We played a 4-3-3 with Tevez on the left, Llorente in the centre and Marchisio on the right.

Tevez had more of a free role but he was still just as dangerous, but his European curse :)D) held him back from scoring.

Let him stay closer to goal and I think he would do just fine as a pseudo LW/SS.

But that will only work if we get a genuine, talented RW like Cuadrado. Marchisio did not look any good as a RW, which hurts everyone up top.

shaqiri 50 million are we crazy? how much did gomez go for? 16m, how much did Gustavo go for? 16m 2 top quality players but they were side lined. same applies for shaqiri.

why why why why why
they got in the 2012. summer and since, he immediatly got used to their style, he improved greatly, got along with the teammates, is happy there, is a great bench option for them and is still young so he is a future replacement for "Robbery". they have no need to sell him...

Both shaqiri and tevez would have a free role. if you look at top players like Ronaldo or Ribery they don't just attack from the wing. they also go in the middle to support midfield. Tevez played on the left technically in the Madrid game but if you looked at him he was mainly supporting pirlo pogba and vidal and creating chances. he made tonnes of assist from that left side of the field like marchisio's header so your argument that tevez would not supply to llorente is not relevant.

1st Bayern is not a selling club. they dont sell their key players. if the trainer doesent need the player he is sold (Van Gaal>Lucio, Guardiola>Gustavo...). they obviously want to keep Shaq so they wont sell him.

2nd they have great relationships with Wolfsburg for a while now and they didnt want Gustavo to leave the BL for not dropping the quality of the league. With Fiorentina, Gomez only wanted there, he even said he turned down Real MAdrid for them + Bayern wanted to return a favor to them for a "fair" deal they had with Toni. you cant compare Shaqiri with those 2
