Buy:

menez (free)

rossi (lack from loan)

shaqiri (15-18m)

immobile (buy half)

Half of Cerci (giovinco and zaza exchange for example + cash if needed)

Half pereyra (give them our half of isla)

Half Obiang (for Quags)

- - - Updated - - -

both halfs will give playing rights to play for us.

Seriously if we would buy your average wingers, and it would play against our 352 , they would get smashed because licht and asamoah simply destroy them.

433 doesnt work when your wingers are worse then the players who are supporting them. Give up.

3.36mln isn't exactly low either.

Menez, Pereyra, Immobile and keep our stars.

I don't have high hopes for summer, so anything extra would make happy.
Me neither. But it would be so nice just to sign one quality player. But I don't have much hope.

Menez, Pereyra and Immobile would be a decent mercato, but I'd be content.

It doesn't make sense to change to a formation you don't have the players for. And Tevez works best in our current one, as does Asamoah (unless he is going to warm the bech) and Pirlo...

IF we were to change to a 4-3-3, we would need guys like Di Maria, Sanchez and Griezmann on our wings.... Menez would be nice for free, and would allow us more flexibility, but a permanent change to 4-3-3 because of him and some dude like Cerci/Shaqiri/Pereyra would be stupid imo

Menez wants to leave this summer. "I know everything about Serie A, I already speak the language, the adaption would be easy. Juventus are a team that I really like, they are one of the best in Europe."

Never gonna happen for so low price.
why? when have Bayern sold a player for more than 18m?#

look at the players that have been benched and sold over the seasons:

Gustavo brought for 17m sold for 16m

Gomez brought for 30m sold for 16m

Lucio brought for 13m sold for 7m

these are pretty good players but they have been sidelined so their price drops. shaqiri has played only 600 minuted of games and will not go for anything more than 18m considering that they brought him for 12m they will make a profit which is actually good considering most of their selling is looses.

You can argue that he is young and will eventually be the "ribery replacement" but if he was he would be getting plenty of game time and he is not. also Bayern want draxler so they will need some cash to raise money for that and that will be when they sell the likes of shaqiri.

Perfect situation perfect buy.

Yeah I still think we're getting him. He plays on several positions and he can be a good back-up.

in last years campaign we got celtic in the last 16 and that's why we reached top8. if look at todays champions league we would have got Chelsea and they would have beaten us quite easily considering the style of play and consistency under mourinho. last year's Chelsea was half the team of this years Chelsea. We were luckly with the team picks lasdt year and that's why the 352 worked. we had better players in every single position.

Barca got trashed because of their lack of physicality and organisation. they had to tactical strategy whatsoever. it was not the formation that made them loose it was their lack of focus and bad organisation. and considering that Bayern are now using 4141 which is a high pressing 433 and are trashing everyone, I thin it's suitable for us too to use something similar.

in a 433 the central midfielders are not limited, actually they will have less defensive duties and therefore will have more chance to attack. a 433 with vidal and pogba is a 4-1-4-1 when attacking .

Menez: Now I am looking for a team that I can go to and have fun. Juventus, I like a lot. They have many good players but I am not afraid of competition."
We defeated celtic and got eliminated by the by far best team. That doesnt give shit evidence that other teams would have gotten us, even if we had a weaker frontline.

You name a chelsea that had won the CL. We won without our current strikers who made us so much better. We shut up hazard, and their flanks, with our 352 quite well.
Just imagine this team when the defence is in a decent form

Barcelona got trashed, because bayern very easely countered their playstyle and formation. Barcelona's 433 has a weak central axis, and if you can domminate the center and cut off the flanks and combinations via Iniesta, then suddenly they are very exposed. This is the case for every 433 with 2 offensive mids, and why its in essence unbalanced. Barcelona's overwhelming offensive talent, and the general lack of good defensive players, masked this a great deal.

Bayeren are offcourse not using a 433.
Last year, they had a massive 4231 going, wich so many younger talents, who only got better.
For this year, first, they killed dortmund by getting gotze. Its evident on how much worse dortmund has become. Beeing a genuine CL contender last year, and a challenger in the bundesliga, they fell far behind now, didnt impress in the groupstage and had a very lucky draw in the first round, much more then we with celtic last year.

Because we dont have such overwhelming talent, and especially because we cant get wingers remotely close to the talent bayern has, we can offcourse not use their formation.

For bayern, the fact that there is no good defensive team, and that they got worldclass wingers and midfielders, makes it work. Without such wingers, it wont work.

That quote/article was from today too. Menez is a great option because he'll come free, and its likely, because Marotta is keen on deals like that.

I hope it comes to fruition. I think he'll get a lot of starting time play.

I would love Menez here, low risk high reward scenario.
But menez is a weak player with a shitty mentality that will never make it at juventus so we'll pass

352

Buffon
Barzagli Bonucci Chiellini
Litchsteiner Vidal Pirlo Pogba Asamoah
Tevez Llorente

433

Buffon
Litchsteiner Barzagli Chiellini Asamoah
Vidal Pirlo Pogba
Shaqiri Llorente Tevez

Tevez is not a winger and wasted there, shaqiri is decent.

As its very clear, the 352 would completely destroy the 433 mentionned

As I said before time and time again I would put tevez on a free role so that he can support the striker. that means he can drift wide or support central midfield etc... if you looked at reus or ribery last season they tended to also shift centrally to support midfield although their were LWs. Same applied to tevez but in the opposite direction.

shaqiri would be the type of deal of the likes of strootman, vidal, reus etc.... a player that can be brought for under 20 million and will become a 30m+ player within 1 or 2 seasons. better and cheaper option than cuadrado but I would like cuadrado because he can play RWB.

Bayern this season are playing the 2 offensive creative midfielders with one holding midfielder and they are not doing bad are they? I understand that it leaves gaps in the middle but we have the likes of pogba, vidal and even asamoah which are superb defensively and offensively.

Yeah, Tuttosport wrote that a day or two ago. Would be a fantastic signing, but I find it hard to believe.
manzukic without wingers supplying him out be like a pizza without its base. :D

I never knew Bonucci is that strong.
