Almost signature worthy
It's ludicrous to say we were better two years ago, I have no idea why that myth is so widely spread. We were easier to break down, just look at the Napoli game where we were we were trailing by 3 goals at half time (the comeback was one of the best things to happen that season, but it doesn't take away our complete meltdown before HT).
In general our play was more energetic, also due to the fact that we only had to play one competition, but ultimately much more fragile, and above all, inconsistent.
It'll always be a special season for many as we finally clinched 30th title and left behind all those years of sorrow; arguably we play better now and are more efficient. I remember 5 draws in a row during Jan-Feb period, terrible goalless game vs Siena sometime in Dec, draw vs Bologna, Cagliari, Fiorentina, Genoa... No, no I prefer this Juve, we don't always play beautiful, struggle at times, but the final result is more than satisfying.
I see the 3-5-2 vs 4-3-3 debate continuing, yes I would like 4-3-3 if we had the right players but are people seriously suggesting that a switch to 4-3-3 now will somehow make our players tireless and make them pressure like mad like we used to do? :facepalm2:

It is probably my favourite season ever (I was still a little kid back in the 90es, didn't really get all that much), we finally returned to the top after the dire years of Secco and Del Neri in the a triumphant fashion undefeated, and all that in Del Pieros last season... 
From an at least somehow objective viewpoint it is clear that as a team, we have evolved since then, and become a lot better, thankfully.

it's not just the formation, but a lot goes to the formation. with 352 we saw deep and Bayern where not able to break us as frequently as they did with barca which I may remind you has a midfielder as their primary centre back. we however witht the 352 shoed no offensive power anyways and even though we have tevez and llorente upfront, any top defender will be able to break their moves down. I would only have 352 in Europe if we have someone like suarez or cavani upfront.

man city, Chelsea, psg, Dortmund are sarting to overlap their fullbacks. with the 352 we won't have cover for them and if we use our midfielders we would leave agap in midfield so it won't work.

Stop mentionning the bayern game, we have made a huge improvement since.
Its irrelevant that they have overlapping fullbacks.
if you crowd and domminate the center, they'll have a difficult time reaching those flanks, and one of the cm's and cb's will allways aid the wingback.
The only situation when it becomes hard, is when you got the best player in the world on the left flank, who runs 100 meters under 11 seconds on grass, and a nearly as fast and very talented aswel Di Maria on the opposite side. Then you simply play a back4 because you dont have the pace to keep up.
If you bother looking up, thats exactly what conte said when we played madrid. He changed the formation cause he knew we'd domminate the center and interrupt their gameplan, but knew that they were that much faster then our wingbacks, that is was a huge risk. so he played a back4

He means doubeling up. As in the wingers go offensive and the fullbacks join them, creating a 1v2 against the wingback if your coach doesnt protect that from happening
