I was watching El Clasico and at the same time had Catania vs Juventus running simultaneously on my other TV. Such stark contrast. One game was full of pace and attacking verve (albeit shit defending) whereas the other was a slow motion snooze-fest.
We can beat up on teams in Serie A all we want, but the stark reality is we are ill equipped to compete in Europe, especially against teams that are fearless and attack at pace. We need width and an outlet once the 3-5-2 doesn't work. We must also attempt to build an effective counter attacking unit (I know it is going to take time), because most teams in the CL QF this year have sludge for defense (with the exception of PSG, Atletico, and to a lesser extent Bayern & Chelsea) but are incredibly potent going forward and attacking at pace.

i have a few questions for you so when you got time i would appreciate if you could answer.
1. do you think we will sell pogba and would you do it if we get or the money we get is used on Di Maria and Coentrao or Cavani/Lucas and Cavani/Verratti????
2. what do you think about these players and how well would they fit us: Ranocchia, Lulic, David Pizarro, Murru???
3. would you bring any of these if we fail to find a good bench player on their positions: F. Rossi, Marrone, Immobile, Gabbiadini???

1) We should not sell Pogba. But if we do players must be involved in the deal.
2) I think ranocchia actually can be pretty good around good defenders/coach. the other 3 are nice dept options
3) Rossi and Gabbia arent there yet. Marrone isnt good enough for juventus. Immobile however, could be a nice cheap striker
Oh i dont know, us having so many games whilst the entire bench is injured or suspended ? Or that fiorentina is a good team that we still shut up pretty nicely ?
