I doubt they would bother offering us less than 40M...
If PSG are serious about Pogba they will offer 60-70M for him! The question remains Are they serious about him?!
I hope they're not, Fvck'em and their money.
I just found it pretty hilarious that this dude Benito, thinks they're not gonna offer more than 40mil.
I mean practically anyone who's got a name in football world's coming out praising Pogba as the best of the best, and then this guy's coming here saying they're gonna give us 40mil like that's them being generous. :lol2:

Bayern paid the 40m€ release clause and nothing more.

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...helsea-bid-for-antoine-griezmann-9083489.html

"Having represented France at Under-21 level, Griezmann has been in fine form this year and has a £25m release-clause in his contract."

according to this article his release clause is 25 million pounds (30.4M €) and if its true that Bayern paid just the clause without taxes (which i believe it was) then we should definetly try to get him. such an opportunity doesent come very often...

would anyone else do it?

I'd do it

That's not even a big fee by todays standards
Alternatively we pay 10M for somebody like Biabiany and he'll flop, we go back to 3-5-2 and it all starts over again.
thats exactly what im thinking. griezmann is 23 and has 8-9 years of top football ahead. we pay that clause and dont have to worry about that spot for a time... and if you get cerci, menez etc. you would have to buy an upgrade next summer anyway and then you have to sell a useless player that no-one wants. thats how all of our signings end up...

Release clause?

I tell ya'll what, if Conte needs a push to go for a 4-3-3, Griezmann being available is what could get him to switch the formation.

Although, if that clause exists then there will be a lot of teams out there who'd want him and I have a hard time seeing him pick us out of the bunch.

dreaming guys...the rich will go for him and that is it.

Question on the 4-4-3...if conte does go to this formation and uses Giovinco properly, does anyone see Cerci being any better than him when both are in form playing in tactics that suit them best? Giovinco's form at Parma that season was just as good if not better than Cerci this season. So if we play the way Giovinco can perform at his best, why are we bothering with Cerci?

I know Cerci is almost a done deal, but it just seems strange that conte would change tactics to accommodate a player like Cerci when he basically has one in his squad now.

I'm tipping Cerci, Menez and nani to come in...Nani on a much lower wage than he is now and menez on a free.

Inter wants Cerci.

We're planning to extend Pogba's contract in March/April, no release clause. However a crazy bid of 70mln might make us wave goodbye to him, if happens.

According to GdS we were rejected by Vidic.

Hummels links (Barca wants him too, to replace Puyol).

Italian newspapers are reporting news from England how van Persie will leave in the summer, and we're interested along with Chelsea and Monaco.

Tuttosport mentioning Mustafi.

We're also being lined with Badstuber.

More Di Maria, Coentrao and Marota links.

Darmian links.
