When we won the league in 2011/12 i said we should buy Cavani for 30-35 million. He was exactly what we needed to continute the 4-3-3 but Conte wanted to play a 5-3-2 with Matri and Quags. If we sold one of them for 10 million i believe we could have afforded him. Maybe Napoli weren't willing to sell to us but it was worth a try imo. Unfortunately that season his value rose even more and then he became out of reach.
We wasted money on Isla he was pretty much our 3rd RB after Caceres and Lich. We were willing to pay 18.5 million for him while still we had 2 good player for that position already while having no LB which is really stupid.
There needs to be a clear out of about 6-7 players this season,
Isla, Not Juve Quality.
Quags, to old and we have better.
Vucinic, to old and is not the player he was for us last season and the season before. Injury's are catching up with him.
Giovinco, keep if we switch to a 4-3-3 sell if Conte is insiting on 5-3-2 again.
Padoin, not Juve material but a nice guy who does a job when asked to do it.
De Ceglie, not Juve material just no where near good enough. Maybe he didn't get much playing time in the last 3 years it has harmed his progress.
Asamoah, keep but move him to CM and get a proper LB.
We need to sell them and get them off the books completely they are no longer needed for us and wont get any playing time next season.
