Done deal, at least for "El Mercurio": Mauricio Isla will soon be a player of Newcastle. At Juventus, again according to the head of Chile, will be about 8 million pounds, while "El Huaso" will bind to the Bianconeri English for three years. All true? The next market hours will tell.
8 mill :lol: fucking hell can't even sell him for a profit at least

true

but

we will not go to shit without vidal
We won't go to shit, but we shall be severely weakened.

Remember the Zidane sale?! We never truly recovered on the European stage from that. Yes, we did reach the final in 03 because of a phenomenal Nedved that season, but with Zidane in the side we reached 2 consecutive finals in 97 and 98, and almost made it to the final again in 99 (even though DP was injured and Zidane was playing on one knee in that 2nd leg).

If we want to be competitive in Europe, we can't afford to sell our best players!

The point is, only sell for huge money, and IF he wants to leave.

When we sold Zidane and the rat faced cunt currently coaching Milan, we brought in Buffon, Thuram, Nedved, and Salad.

Who are we going to bring in if we sell Zidane?! If we intend on spending some of that cash on shitcunts like Candreva, Cerci, and Guarin, then Marotta should pack his bags and leave.

i fully agree but its looking extremely unlikely that our owners are going to pump significant sums of cash for us to acquire "top players"...whatever little we have got to spread around..vidal will be a huge loss obviously...we will look and play different but how weakened we will be or how strong we will be only time (and maybe preaseason) will tell

mmy thing is that i hope the club will invest wisely the profits from any vidal/pogba sale

try to find a balanced good solid team now....after vidal/pogbal sale use the funds and acquire 1 WC player a year...assuming of course we have a team that needs little tinkering

again, i agree but one things amazes me every time:
why is everyone acting like we bought all those players exclusively from the zidane and inzaghi money?
zidane made us 73.5m, inzaghi 37m -> 110.5m
we bought buffon (54.2), thuram (41.5), nedved (41.2), salas (25) and zenoni (15.5) -> 177.4m
that´s a difference of almost 70m.

even if we include kovacic (15) and van der sar (10.3) we are left with a transfer minus of 41.6m, not to mention that buffon, thuram, nedved etc. probably earned a lot more than the players we sold...
back then we were a european powerhouse with lots of money and a huge wage budget.
things like that are just not feasible anymore.

obviously, the point still stands: if we sell vidal we have to buy REAL quality... i just think that we have to manage our expectations a little bit and not live in the past.

When a players flops tremendously, you offcourse dont make a profit if you bought him for a normal price, but you try to cut your losses

8mil pounds/10mil euros is cutting losses

There is no evidence or news regarding Mauricio Isla moving to Newcastle (which was reported by the Chilean media). - SKY
However, if thats the only source then its guaranteed bullshit

What is it with south american teams beeing pathetic cunts (sorry X) ?

First uruguay with the way they handeled their suarez incident, now Chile who are butthurt like a milanista cause we didnt want them to terminate our best player's career

cmon..
