We dont need Etoo here. Morata will be back soon. In the meantime, we have 3 players that could cover the striking department plus another 2 (Coman, Shaqiri if he is signed) who could play there in an emergency situation. If we need a 5th striker, bring back one of our youngsters.

Having said this, Etoo would be far from a disaster if we offer him an one year contract. But I dont think he will accept being anything less than a starter here and Llorente and Tevez are not going ou.t of the starting 11 anytime soon.

But if some wanna be twitter gurus know about the deal and the "keep it unofficial" part of it aswell, wouldn't it be stupid to believe that other clubs managements, who are in contact with each other and all the agents wouldn't know? If two clubs keep a deal a secret, they would have to be really tight about it, and then i would wonder how a random guy on twitter heard it from a camera man from bein sports who got told by Wenger who knows because he talked to Vidals agent when he was signing Alexis... I mean, it really smells like BS.

But ATTENTION MODS: why don't you open the Vidal thread? At least all panic and 'spam' can be kept within that thread, and if you don't wan't to see it, it will be easy to avoid. At the moment talk just goes on the the Isla thread, the wishlist thread, the Marotta thread etc...
