We're not going to buy Shaqiri anyway, he's out of Marotta's reach.
TBH nothing will surprise me this summer. Even if we go out with mercato chiuso after signing Evra and Pereyra.

Who would you rather buy now, Shaqiri or Pastore?

IMO Pastore as AMC (4-3-1-2) makes a lot more sense than buying Shaqiri who'd be the only winger in our squad.

I can't decide between Shaqiri and Pastore but I prefer Isco over both anyway. And any one of them over Jovetic.

I think Shaqiri is probably a better choice, plus he can be a good player to have in the squad for the long term since he is more versatile

Yeah, getting Isco would be great. But I think we have 1% chance to sign him lol.

Pastore might be realistic, though.

Buffon

Licht - Barzagli - Chiellini - Evra (Asamoah)

Pogba (Pereyra) - Pirlo (Marchisio) - Vidal (Asamoah)

Pastore (Pereyra)

Tevez - Llorente (Morata)

Where would we use him? I think only God knows which formation we're gonna use.

Tevez - Llorente/Morata - Shaqiri

Shaqiri behind Tevez - Llorente/Morata

?
You guess is as good as mine :boh:

Might be both Tevez and Shaqiri behind Llorente, 4-3-2-1, with the Swiss guy drifting more to the left/right. But it will be a sweat deal if we manage to pull.

Eh, dunno. I can't say I've seen Shaqiri play there.

I think he's talented but he never impressed me as much to say that he has a WC potential. I'm not sure if he'd play well behind a striker (and drifting to the right).

However, I'd love to see Pastore regain his Palermo form. He pretty much choked at PSG, it might be a risk signing but we should cut his value by half at the very least. IMO he has (or had) everything it takes to be a true AM. If we played 4-3-3 I'd surely for for Shaqiri, but if we're planning to go with 4-3-2-1 or 4-3-1-2 then I'd easily go after Pastore.

Shaqiri is as overrated as Higuain were.

Lavezzi would grant us some needed speed but rather than that he is very overrated and wont offer much so Ill pass.
Shaquiri is a good player who works hard but he could be a good winger. I dont see him as behind the strikers kind of player.
