Very logical. The two most interesting italian prospects still in serie a, Berardi and Immobile are co owned by juve, and we look to spread our domminance.

Offcourse the FIGC was going to do something.
Even Marotta(Juventus) was/are in favor of abolishing the co-ownership rule.

“Juve had voted in favour of abolishing co-ownership deals, but the majority is what counts. Sooner or later UEFA will call for the harmonisation throughout the Leagues and this co-ownership situation only exists in Italy,” said Marotta.

Personally I like the Co-ownership system. Giving smaller teams and equal stake in a player's development gives them more reason to aid the player's development.

Obviously not working though, or else this generation of Italian players is even worse than we realised

Now that clubs won't be allowed to co-own new players anymore (only renew for one more year the ones that already exist), this will completely change mercato strategy.

Pereyra won't be able to be bought in co-own. If Udinese rates him at 15M, get the fuck out.

Baselli won't be able to be bought in co-own. The same for Zappacosta and others.

And in one year, Juve will have to resolve all the co-owns they have - this includes Gabbiadini, Zaza, Berardi, Boakye, Marrone, Rugani and many others. We will spend a lot of money with that.

It wasn't the best moment to change the rules, but one time it would have to happen.

And now this actually may be a strong incentive so the club learns to develop more talent within Juve. You don't have to loan out all and every talent you have. Italians must learn this. Ending co-ownership is the hard way, but might be effective.

wouldnt it be more logical for this thing to start from next transfer window. some clubs already have "done deals" that are co-owns and if this starts right now teams would have to change theirstrategy completely. i think it is better to use this nw rule starting with the next summer so teams can adapt better...

How can Marotta vote against these kind of deals if he signed/sold so many players on co-op? something is wrong, we should have paid around 40m for Isla and Asamoah to Udinese if co-op deals were not existed, also 15m for Bonucci, 14m for Ogbonna and so on wtf?!

This is in our advance

Co-owns not possible, so when a player from a smaller club is contacted by Juve and start to pile on the pressure (Its pretty much the way we sign every player). the club will have to sell, but now they're the ones in a pressured situation, unhappy player and us knowing that he wants out. We'll be paying less for players after this is gone.

It's not, we don't have big money to spend, what if other teams will refuse to buy-out our players? we will go to blind auction and we will be forced to outbid them, then we will able only to loan them out or sell, and which team can afford to pay 12m for Gabbiadini? Sampdoria? Meh

Pogba being sold for 70m would give us a huge boost in strengthening our key areas. As long as we keep Vidal and slot Asamoah back into the middle...that 70m could get us players like Coentrao, Sanchez and hell I can't think of anyone else, but you get the point.

If we really do plan on keeping our youth out on loan for another year and say land a 2-3 top players (I MEAN TOP PLAYERS)...that would do more than get us through this season with a much stronger squad than with Pogba in it and those 2-3 top players not. Then next year if our #Boys continue to advance we will have an amazing young/attacking team with a strong second line of players ready for games.

Disclaimer: Not saying I want Pobga sold.

Maybe Verratti for vice Pirlo. :touched:

Give me Modric and Di Maria and maybe ill think about it.
Modric maybe but I think Di M. is out of our salary price range at this point. But yes, we could build a nasty team much stronger than the one we have now with Pogba in it.

Trying real hard not to reference the Zidane sale but hey, if the numbers are big enough then I say we would be stupid not to.

Apart from wingers and wing backs does anyone else not think we need to invest in CB's. I mean top top quality CB's, we have chiellini i trust but i don't think Ogbonna, Caceres and Bonucci who causes me to lose hair everytime i watch through stress and anger are actually up to making a claim in champs league. I really think we need to bring in another top quality CB to go next to Chiellini as Barzagli is getting old.
