The sad thing is Torino got by far the better deal than we did for Ogbonna. If u do the math they have received 20 million + from selling Ogbonna to us.

Ogbonna 14 million, they gave us 3.5 million for 50% of Immobile. They will net around 10 million from Immobile if he is sold for around 20 million. Once again Marotta got taken to the cleaners on a deal. Ogbonna was worth no more than 10 million the fact we had to over pay and give half of Immobile was stupid on his part.

But i doubt torino would accept part payment knowing we are getting full payment from dortmund and it seems like they want to keep the player .
This just came in : Cairo: "The @ BVB not contacted us. Immobile We want to keep.'s Meeting with Juventus? Did not know was missing the third part ..." :boh:

i´m expecting big things if this is going to happen. sanchez :xfinger:
if the fee really goes up to like 20mio i´m fine with it, especially if this one installment thing is true. could be huge for us this summer.
furthermore, i love how some already started to blame marotta and only marotta :D. with all the fuss about conte in the last few days there is 0 (ZERO) chance that ciro would leave if conte rates him...

The thing is, if our style of play doesn't suit Immobile, he would essentially be a 20M player playing no better than our average bench player. He's a great finisher, and quick on the counter.

But his hold up play, and play with his back to goal is definitely not better than Llorentes. So he would probably not even break into the starting XI.
If selling a 3rd choice striker presently means we can afford Sanchez/somebody similar and switch to 3-5-2, then so be it

Here's a question. Would you rather bring immobile back and have average Wingers, or stick to 3-5-2

Or would you sell him and switch formations with the proper personel. I don't know about you but i've had enough of the 3-5-2 and you can't be shitting all over Marotta for this if it works out like that

We moan because we don't spend big due to lack of funding, so when an opportunity presents itself to get a top player for the sake of a player who doesn't even play for us and we take it, we shouldn't be moaning at that too

Unfortunately we're not mega rich and we have to sell players to buy (Better) players.

At the beggining yes, but in his current game, Ciro is miles ahead of him. Llorente cant pass, cant dribble past and cant shoot with consistency. Inmobile can beat that easily. We all love Llorente but he has turned out to be sooo limited.

Ciro will beat him no doubt, in my eyes.

Still different players who could be used in diofferent games. We need BOTH

Just read an article regarding Kolarov on Di Marzio's site and since Kolarov's agent also represents Cerci, gdm says we arent interested in him ESPECIALLY CONTE who has other ideas for the wing(Nani,Cuadrado and Sanchez)

Yep.Di Marzio has actually said this from the beginning. We were never interested in him if u believe gdm.
yeah i posted this earlier its Kolarov because he might be out due to FFP

Mancity will have to reduce their squad to 21 from 25 players due to FFP penalty .

Aleksander Kolarov, Juve offer 3 year contract (Option 4) and salary of € 2.5M per year according to SKY

So looks like kolarov/lulic for vice asamoah
