Hinsight is such a great thing isnt it.He was nowhere close to being a 15m player when at madrid,he was mostly fringe and had a very average time there.So no need to twist things to suit ur argument.

Those were specific circumstances that allowed Madrid to gain significant amount for these two, while on the other hand 9 out of 10 players that leave Madrid tend to go for a discount. No other club were willing to meet those absurd figures. I wouldn't call their mgt as a particularly wise after decade of constant failures. At most they were opportunistic last summer.

Selling a promising youngster, and Callejon was touted as such, for 15m is not a good piece of business in my books. The fact that he's among the best players in the league only confirms what a bad move they made last summer, once again selling cheaply.

And no, Serie A is not that weak, plenty of top players want to come here. The fact that Higuain, one of La Liga's top scorers chose to move to Napoli tells you something; and Napoli-Juve, notice the difference in status. Btw Higuain was regularly hitting 20-25 goals in Spain, despite being heavily rotated, while it doesn't seem likely that he'll reach those numbers this year, playing in a poor Serie A.

...Getting Pedro and Alexis would be a dream. Holy shit I'm having a boner just thinking about it

Davids ha consigliato alla Juve Mario Balotelli...
"Balotelli non lo scopriamo certamente oggi, è un ottimo giocatore, c'è solo da dire che è del Milan. Credo sia veramente un percorso quasi utopistico quello di immaginare un trasferimento di Balotelli, in un settore comunque come il nostro che oggi annovera dei giocatori importanti. Credo che Balotelli non sia destinato alla Juventus".

Ma chi è il parametro zero che avete già preso?

"Può darsi che sia una di queste tre nazioni, assolutamente. Noi lo abbiamo fatto da tempo, lo facciamo e poi quando avremmo un'idea più chiara di quello che ci serve per la stagione futura, andremo a concludere certe operazioni".

La scelta principale può essere un giocatore veloce in grado di saltare l'uomo? Uno come Nani o Hazard?
"Diciamo che i critici hanno sempre indicato in un profilo del genere il giocatore che ci mancava. Chiaramente bisogna anche valutarlo al'interno del modulo tattico. E' chiaro che in un cambiamento di modulo questi tipi di giocatori si adattano di più. Però parliamo di giocatori assolutamente importanti, che hanno esperienza e caratura europea, quindi sarebbero ben graditi dalla Juventus. Questo non significa che abbiamo preso uno o l'altro, significa che sono giocatori importanti e di caratura".

Possiamo smetterla di farti domande su Conte?
"Semplicemente perchè nel corso di questa settimana, o la prossima, o immediatamente dopo la partita di Roma, affronteremo il presidente, io e tutti i dirigenti, con Antonio, quello che può essere il suo futuro, partendo come abbiamo detto sempre e come abbiamo ribadito in questi giorni, di avere tra le mani un patrimonio di Juventus, un patrimonio che rappresenta un allenatore tra i più completi in circolazione, completi perchè non è solo bravo nel gestire la partita, ma è bravissimo nel gestire il lavoro settimanale e soprattutto è bravissimo nell'inculcare quella mentalità vincente di cui parlavo prima, che è servita in questi tre anni per arrivare a questi straordinari traguardi".

C'è stato un grande abbraccio tra lei e Florentino Perez. Avete parlato anche di mercato?
"Devo dire che con Florentino Perez c'è un rapporto di stima reciproca, quindi affettuosamente avete visto questo abbraccio. Ma è un rapporto amichevole, si è parlato di tutto, di poitica, di calcio, di aspetti legati a calciatori, ma a dir la verità ero più io che cercavo giocatori loro che quelli che lui cercava da me. It seems as though people are mistranslating these rumors. All of the bolded are the questions Marotta was asked. Although he does leave alot of the answers up to interpretation he isn't the one who mentioned those names.
