I could see Utd going for Klopp over Conte.
But they wont have any chance to get him. Nobody is going to get Klopp, as he totally identifies with HIS Dortmund project. There is a higher chance for SAF to come back and take over.

English media are absolutely clueless where Serie A is concerned.
The same goes for English media and Bundesliga..clueless and shameless.
At any rate, hopefully they do go for Klopp, because they want Reus too so it would make sense for them to raid Dortmund.
and Dortmund have nothing better to do to fulfill their wishes or what? Klopp is not interested in leaving he has stated it countless times last time yesterday. Anybody who would have any clue about Klopp or Dortmund would know that. He is loyal and has contract until 2018..just recently extended to show everybody and especially his actual and future players, that he ll be there for the long term.

Silly-season in full swing already, it seems: http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/seri...nta-pogba-e-offre-mandzukic-e-shaqiri-548491?

Bayern wants Pogba, will offer Mandzukic and Shaqiri.

Having a press conference, sucking up to the fans and talking about 'loyalty' means nothing. Not to mention Dortmund are obviously a selling club.

Sahin. Voted best player of the season along with Vidal. Left for peanuts
Kagawa. Went to United for a low price. There was no resistance
Gotze. Bayern matches his clause, he went.
Lewa. Off to Bayern for free.

Yes, there's an incredibly strong possibility Reus will leave. And United will happily match the 35M price. Reus won't stay in a team that can't offer him trophies for long. They don't strengthen at all, every Summer they weaken.

Same goes for Klopp. Do you think he will stay at BVB picking up the pieces every Summer when his best 2 players are poached and he's given 20 year olds in return?
He may be content now but i'd say he won't be for much longer.

Valncia :howler: Enough of those limited players FFS! Yes, he is $#@!ing fast, and can deliver a good cross, not too shabby defensively, but still limited as $#@!.

We need an injection of pace, along with intelligence. Fast and dumb doesn't quite cut it.

Lulic, Candreva/Pereyra, Nani/Sanchez, and Immobile sounds like a solid and doable mercato.

also thats most likely gonna happen. eventually if we want to get rid of Isla, Romulo might be purchased. or, if we get the cheaper options out of Candreva/Pereyra and Sanchez/Nani, we might try to sign Cuadrado. or if we fail to sign Cuadrado, both of Candreva and Pereyra would do the work too :D

Yeah, it will be a long-term job. So I think it's safe to say that the 3 main managers being talked about will be the trio of young, emerging managers who have already been successful in major competitions

Simeone
Klopp
Conte

Anybody else like Van G is a short-term solution and i'm not sure that's what United are after.
You guys are forgetting Giggs. He's already been sort of a co-trainer with Moyes (though they didn't really get along), and I could very much imagine him taking over from a "short term" coach like Van Gaal in, let's say 2 seasons.

We won't get Cuadrado.
probably. thats why Isla will stay, or if he leaves we might get both Pereyra and Candreva (or one of them and Romulo).

yeah. Van Gaal seems likely. then after him one of their former players under Ferguson (Giggs, Solskjaer) could take over...

Its obvious, that u have no clue what u r talking about, but i ll answer.

Sahin has never won the player of the year award, just some vote from players. He had a buyout clause in his contract from the bad old Dortmund times, where the club was in no man's land and he was loaned to Feyenoord, cos coach Doll didnt want him. So a 6m€ clause made sense that time..nobody was expecting such a rise in such short time. That was/is the problem of Dortmund, that they have to adapt to the new circumstances.

Vidal had just 1 year left of his contract..Bayern tried to bully Leverkusen with a 10m€ offer, as they were sure Vidal ll keep his promise to go there, but obviously Juve was also a very nice option so Juve got him for relatively low money. I very much doubt though, that u were aware of his potential that time..I was.

Kagawa had also just 1 year contract. Could u give me an example please, where Dortmund sold a player who was under contract for more than 1 year and had no buyout clause? Do u have any idea what giants tried to sign their players over the last years and left behind with bloody noses?

Real tried Reus for example last summer and offered 50m€..why didnt Dortmund sell? Real also tried to get Piszczek and Lewandowski..probably also for Gündogan or Hummels. All English clubs were trying to get Hummels, Reus, Gündogan and who knows else..they all got the same answer..Dortmund don't sell.

Lewa yes a great example..Dortmund could have sold him for 25m€ to Bayern in summer, but what did they do? They decided to refuse that money and keeping him, means getting nothing now..but sure Dortmund are a selling club, cos Pirlo's Beard says so.

Götze had a clause, so what could Dortmund do?

Reus is the last player with a clause in his contract and it is reported, that this clause cannot be activated until 2015. If the information is correct, then u can be sure that Reus is going nowhere.

The Klopp part just demonstates that u have no idea what u r talking about..keep ur platitutes for urself thank god some people on this planet r not only thinking about money, but to build something special instead..making Dortmund a TOP club for example and Klopp has talked about this specific topic pretty often and he knows that it needs time and patience.

I'll stop the conversation here because the more that somebody suggests Dortmund isn't a club that lets players go, the lower my IQ drops

Such a retarded notion. Yes, Dortmund never sell and the mere thought of Reus going to United is insane. stfu please

If we are forced to sell Pogba, with the amount of top dollar clubs wanting him - PSG, Madrid, Bayern, etc - we should get around 70M for him.
But if it's Bayern - we should only sell him if Kroos is in the deal. We could consider even a straight swap, I don't care.
If Kroos doesn't want to come - then let's get Shaquiri. Shaquiri + 50M.
With 50M we can get someone like Draxler or Griezmann, who might be willing to come (for stg like 30/35M).

Out: Pogba, Vuci, Quags, Osvaldo, Fausto Rossi, Motta, Isla 1/2 = + 90M

In: Griezmann/Draxler (30M), Ricardo Rodriguez (25M), Shaquiri (20M), Nani (12M), Immobile (10M), Murru (free) = -97M

(total spent: -7M)

4231:
Buffon - Licht, Barza, Chiellini, Rodriguez - Pirlo, Vidal - Griezmann, Shaquiri/Draxler, Tevez - Llorente

Bench (433):
Storari - Caceres, Bonucci, Ogbonna, Peluso/Murru - Padoin, Asamoah, Marchisio - Giovinco, Nani, Immobile

This would be beautiful :)

Griezmann nor Draxler would come for 30m. and Pirlo should not play ina two man midfield.

I've read that Griezmann has a 30M release clause, don't know if it's true.
But give them 40M then. We'd still have a net cost of less than 20M overall.
I actually agree with you, Pirlo should rotate with Asamoah. Asamoah + Vidal holding the mid would be so amazing.

We all know we wont ditch the 3 man midfield until Pirlo retires.
