Ranocchia has been scouted by the entire EPL and PSG since Bari. He was not just "a decent prospect". If he had been at Allegri's milan instead of inter, he would probably play at chelsea by now.

Cannavaro, is indeed a good comparison. Truely magnificent defender, beeing abused at inter. Comes to juve with a coach who knows how and BOOM, history.
At juve, Ranocchia could talk with Pirlo about how inter has a tendency on misusing incredibly good talent, to see it skyrocket right after they sold it

it's freaking ranocchia

let me remind you that berardi as scored 12 goals and 8 are not penalties. udinese's top scorer is dinatale which is going to retire next season and even him has scored 12 goals. beradi I think is good enough to start for a team like udinese.
Berardi is very inconsistent. Most of his goals, were scored in the same games. Its not like he consistantly performs. He had a few amazing games, and then long periods of nothing. When did he score his last goal ? quite a while ago.

Udinese will want a player that is at a point where he is most consistant

Rannocchia is wore than Bonucci, every time i have watched him play he had several errors. It's normal for him to give away penalties and be sent off during games.

NO MORE MONEY ON DEFENDERS PLEASE MAROTTA AND CONTE!

We need creative players with pace to trouble opposition defences.
Dude, our defence is our biggest asset. Our only world class defender is not going to last much longer and allready struggeling, and fur fucking fucks sake, the ranocchia thing has been explained. fucking bother to actually read it if you dont know shit about defenders, or dont make a post about it.

Please dont have the pretence that you know anything about defenders other then "its a guy that can tackle forwards and head the ball"

So please, dont comment on things you dont understand, cause no one is interested in my explaining you why you shouldnt do so.

I'd welcome Ranocchia here tbh.

I'd love to see Ranocchia in a defence that keeps the space small, anticipate an incomming Neymar, Messi or Ronaldo. GOOD LUCK on getting past that guy when not having 10 meters to sideskip

Montero was a beast (a slow one at that), but a beast nonetheless. He was aggressive (sometimes too aggressive) but usually fair :D

Ranocchia is nowhere near that level yet. I see where you are going with his potential, but like Mike said earlier, he might be mentally weak, lack confidence, has massive dips in concentration and form, and that can't all be down to the system or the fact that he is playing for a crappy club. If we are hellbent on getting rid of Vucinic, and he really wants to go to Inter, then a straight swap might be ok, but any substantial cash outlay is a waste.

on the contrary, losing Mirko for that guy would be very very dumb by juventus

He's a confidence player, and has been set back by injuries, and is misused by his coaches.

That confidence aspect applies to quite a bit of juventus players, who were crap under del neri, and suddenly shone under Conte.
Van Buyten is a confidence player. At Belgium he sucks cause we never have a coach that understands defence. At bayern, they find ways to get the best out of him, and he was pretty good for a while, and is now a solid sub.

:sergio:

just... :sergio:

Rakib > Zach. Ban this guy please.
Yeah Nikola, nobody takes you serious anyway. Just accept Mirko's fate, dont resist it, it will go better that way
