First one, but I'd rather have Di Maria and cash than Coentrao / Morata. So Di Maria and 35-40mln.

Llorente

Di Maria - Tevez - Cuadrado

Marchisio - Vidal

With Asamoah as a LB, since I don't think a duo consisting him and Vidal would work, considering they are both box-to-box players and non of them have organizational skills.

These players are very hardworking and talented in the same time, IMO a very balanced team.

Menez for free as back-up player for LM/AM position, and if manage to sell some deadwood get a cheap RW.

That would be excellent. I'd replace Cuadrado with Ocampos though. If we're looking for attack minded wingers, Ocampos is going to be twice the player Cuadrado is. And he'd likely cost less, as I can't see Fiorentina selling Cuadrado to us for under 30 mil. Look at the Jovetic saga.

I'd really love to see a big man partnership. Last time I've seen one kill shit it was Ibra-Trezeguet. Manzukic-Llorente would be sex imo.

Man. F$%k calciopoli! I remain convinced we would have won at least 1 if not 2 UCLs in the 3-4 years following 05/06 with that side. Is that the greatest ever attack, in the history of football? Del Piero, Ibra, Trezeguet? I can't think of a better combination? Three top 20 of all time forwards in the same line-up... Plus Nedved behind them... Seriously. F%$k Moratti.

Actually we need a brain in our squad, we have plenty of pace and muscle.
Thats why the oscar option is interesting !

Oscar + 30mil

---Vidal - Marchisio

Nani - Tevez/Oscar - Oscar/Tevez

-----Llorente

This just needs 1 Leftwinger the season afterwards to do :

---Vidal - Marchisio

Nani - Oscar - somehawtleftwinger

-----Tevez or Llorente

Compare this to the formation wich uses Di Maria, we see even higher workrate, but alot more creativity, a true trequartista general, and so much players who can decide a game on their own.

Who is your suggestion for the left wing slot? I quite like Oscar and have always rated Nani, so that formation looks solid to me.

We weren't going to win shit in Europe with Capello and his outdated style of football. Such a stubborn and inflexible coach.
Capello's problem wasent that his style was outdated. His teams did pretty good before newyear.

THE big issue with capello, is that he fails miserably in letting his team peak at the right time.

Juventus allways started pretty good in europe before newyear, then had an awfull drop around februari/march.
Especially Nedved, Cammoranesi and Ibrahimovic, wich made us look toothless up front.

Conte did the other extreme this year. He started the season with the team in a to worse form, and it bit in the ass when we got unlucky in the final game

lol be sure I wouldn't cry if we get to see something like that. But even if we do sell Pogba I think there'a a bigger chance of seeing Di Maria, rather than Oscar.

Also like I said, you simply cannot write Pirlo off. Be sure, you can bet your ass, that he's going to be starting for us next season and possible the season after. If rumors are true we're offering him close to 4mln per year, we're not one of those clubs who can afford having him on the bench. Your post would be more realistic if he doesn't sign a new contract IMO. But yeah, getting Oscar would be orgasmic either way.

I think our alternative formation will surely be have 3 man midfield, even if that means going without wingers and playing 4-3-1-2. Imagine this

Buffon

Licht - Barza - Chiellini - Coentrao

Vidal - Pirlo/Marchisio - Asamoah

Oscar

Tevez - Llorente

Wel thats the thing. I will normally allways oppose tevez as a left winger cause he's to slow and not motivated to play there. But we could use tevez as a striker in the same way as real madrid used benzema OR higuain. Indeed, that leaves open left wing.

We could play someone like Cerci there, just as a stopgab solution. Yeah, he isnt good enough for juve technically. But considering the overwhelming talent and cohesion the other players offer in this formation, he could look much better then he actually is just because he fits the formation. Like Van Buyten in the center against barcelona. Van Buyten is crap, but he completed the backline with the normal starting CB beeing abscent, so it worked. Just like Barcelona now plenty of times play fast players on the side of messi. They are not natural wingers, but just fast and technical and they fit the formation so make it work.

I think if we sell pogba for Oscar+30mil, that we could land Nani, and add some net spend to get Cerci. (mercato summer 2014)

The year after (mercato 2014) we can look for a good upgrade over cerci. And by then, maybe berardi is consistantly performing, much like immobile is now, and then we dont even need to buy a new winger.

That is offcourse a very good alternative, cant say much wrong about that. And its very solid aswel.
Now here is the interesting part.

Add Nani to that team, and you got an excellent standin for tevez (yet not natural position) and can easely go to the formation i mention.
