People need to stop this "we got iturbe money"
Its not like there is a bag of cash in Marotta's office wich has "iturbe" written on it, and we didnt sell an iturbe eighter.
What actually happened was that in order to keep Conte, the board was thinking to make a financial efford to please the coach. Efford in the meaning that its something we technically didnt have the funds for.
When Conte flipped us the bird and fucked off, the reason to make such unwise financial investment, quickly disappeared.
Currently we are filling the gabs in the starting team and mostly the bench. We arent doing a risky investment that dries up all funds, and take the risk of dropping out of the top2 when injuries to key players occur. Financially its a logical decision, and we'll keep doing that for a while.
So whilst some people are calling for the "big transfer" with or without selling half the team to fund that one guy, (and be the first to complain and leave when things turn out bad), i'm quite happy we are going the sustainable path.
Its also funny how established players like Lavezzi and Podolski are suddenly "average and mediocre" cause certain people got their heads filled with the Di Maria's and Falcao's that tuttosport was showing.
Mercato. More acurate to determine intelligence then any IQ test.
