*fantasymode* Let's just for a minute say we have 12, 15, 18 million or whatever Falcao's salary is and we use it to sign him on loan. If what the rumours say is true (Again, lala land here), Monaco would let us have him on loan for one season so he could gain back his form and we would sell Llorente to Valencia to gather some of that money.

Now, what happens after that one season? He goes back to Monaco who will probably sell him for big money to some other club and we lost Llorente. What would be the $#@!ing point on this, i mean even for a rumour, a BS article, it has to make some sense.

Whoever came up with that $#@! was taking a crap and got inspired. */fantasy mode*

Reports say we have 20m euros to spend on him. That includes salary and transfer fee. I think they mean something like 10m for his loan and 10m for wage. but the report is absoloutly stupid since as you said, what happens after the one season ? even if we included a purchase option say for 40-50m, could we afford it ? or are we really planing just to take him for one season ? (wich is even more crazy).

It's clearly just another insane report from GDS. We should all just ignore this BS.

1. If we won't acquire Manolas, Nastasic or Luisao, Marrone is the one who stays.
2. There is only one trequartista on our radar: Pastore.
3. Slight interest in some dutch players: Blind and Klaassen.
4. Our introductory offer for Manolas is 2m high. Of course loan deal, with an obligation to redemption for 10m.
5. We wanted to replace Storari with Abbiati, but Galliani blocked everything.

A lot of sources. VS/TJ/etc.

I hope that you are right. But knowing Beppe it's really short time.He must evaluate all matters, especially loan. It's his favorite transfer move.

In my view, our squad can remain the same until the transfer deadline - although we could do with a 5th striker. However, if we cannot find a class player who would upgrade the 1st team, I would avoid spending ~10-15m on another average player. i.e if we can't get someone like Lavezzi, Pastore or Jovetic, then I would rather we get some young player on loan so we don't waste money and keep our powder dry when a good opportunity presents itself.

but Allegri said "we don't need a striker who would not improve our team" now this is something we haven't heard from conte or marotta. I have a good feeling about this
