Mercato really ending with a whimper. We'll probably see the likes of Matri and Quag replaced by a not so high flying prospect. I wish we'd get Kolarov and Sanchez/Nani to close the mercato with a bang. Won't happen but amazing if it did.

Tevez is the striker Conte will use for most games and then Llorente and Vucinic second to Tevez. That's three top strikers right there. Add Giovinco and a youngster and the attack is good for the new season. Boakye will be perfect as he himself stated he wanted to get a shot with Juve and prove himself here..

Tevez: 35/40 games - 15-20 goals
Llorente: 30/35 games - 10-15 goals
Vucinic: 30/35 games - 10-15 goals
Giovinco: 25 games - 5-10 goals
Boakye: 15/20 games - 5-10 goals

Perfect :jvefan:

Our transfer campaign should remain as it is!
We should only sell the 2 forwards Marotta mentioned and thats it (altough I`d like Diamanti here) !

I do hope we sign another star forward as I fear Tevez will flop here
As for Llorente I think he is a good player but I am not sure if he is the kind of player who will take us to the next level!

If we can get Ibra we should definitely do it

Llorente ought to have a better game/goal ratio...

ten goals in 30-35 would be a complete failure, for a finisher, at least in my books, we have wasted two seasons playing without a finisher, only to get him, he better prove himself worthy of all those sacrifices...

It won't be a failure if he manages to add some assists to his stats as well. Also holding up the ball long enough like he did in Atletic could be valuable for our play style. Conte liked Boriello for this characteristic and Llorente is or at least was when I watched him previously excellent at his department. Goals will come eventually but don't expect too much at the very beginning. It will take him some time to settle. I expect more goals from Tevez tbh.

Yes he can offer that and it would be really usefull tactically and Tevez might compensate in the finishing front.

But man, ten goals is just too little for a finisher...

I know but he was never that kind of finisher. I don't think he will become one here. Look at his goal ratio so far. Exclude the last season for obvious reasons.

Anyways, if Napoli can sign higuain, so should we!

After getting someone like Tevez and doing even better in Europe, we might reach the required prestige, to acquire a finisher of that caliber.

Hopoefully Llorente will be usefull, at least tactically and help us reach there!
