keep matri? :facepalm2: he is absolute rubbish plus he cannot play on the wing in a 4-3-3 whereas quags and vucinic can. matri does crap (too busy with fixing his hair).

He's replacement for Llorente. Good bench player and after Llorente only proper CF we have.

He is no starter, but to bring him in when we need to score a goal, he can do well.
Plus, he won't complain as much as the others with a bench role, Vucinic, Gio and in a lesser amount, Quag will.

Quag doesn't complain, he just scores goals.

um why? If anything Matri should have scored more in Coppa Italia because it is an easier competition. Not to mention, the fact that Matri played most of our Coppa games shows that Conte doesn't rate him very high, since the first team never plays in CI. Where as Quag started in CL numerous times.

Quags and Vucinic where a BIG threat suring the Chelsea 3-0 game. Quags made so manu chances and vucinic was also running in behind and steaching the defence. Matri during the Bayern game could not even control the ball and he was chasing wasps. Giovinco, Vucinic and even Quags can all play on the wing despite them being names "secondary strikers". in serie A, i would rotate between a strike pair of tevez-llorente to vucinic-quags (if we don't get jovetic). If we get giovetic (by selling matri+quags) then we would get the moteregro's internation striking force of vucinic - jovetic which both have a great chemistry together.

To conclude, if we want jovetic we sell matri+quags and make a striking force of tevez,llorente,jovetic, vucinic and quags. if we don't get jovetic we will keep quags and sell matri which would result in having llorente, tevez, vucinic quags and giovinco. oh by the way, vucinic is valued at 21m on transfer market whereas quags and matri are at 10m which talks for itself.

Because neither of them can provide for themselves. They are heavily dependent on players around. When you have the likes of Padoin, Isla or PDC to depend on for creating chances you won't have many of those.
But never mind this discussion is stupid and as long as we receive good offer I wouldn't mind offloading one of them.
