No need when he is a starter as well. It's not like he's a marginal but talented player like Elia and Krasic were. He's a
top 5 player in his position and we shouldn't sell these players unless an absolutely ridiculous offer comes in.

Just wondering, what is the amount of money that will make you consider selling him?

No quotes. Meh... I can't even imagine him signing for us. No freaking way :p
Why can't you imagine it? He's had a troubled season. Fallen price and way too many alternatives for the top teams who rathe spend big on the flavor of the season. City is going for other reinforcements. His only real option will be Italy, and he might as well go the best club there, than anyone else. Juve-Tevez would be a great fit. In fact if we can negotiate hard, we could even get him for about 15m-17m, I think this would be a phenomenal deal, either way. Definitely not impossible.

Him being bit of an ass + earning almost €10 mill makes it difficult.

I think many top clubs would consider him, even PSG and Monaco. Also, I think some club from Argentina might bid, he always cries how he wants to go there so I wouldn't be surprised if that's his next destination.

But... well... hopefully you're right. I just can't see it happening.

Maybe we could give like 6-7 + high CL bonuses. He would also have the benefit of being the biggest name too, instead of just being one of the many at Man $hitty.

Tevez-Llorente

holy fuck, with our MF and DF we would be unstoppable.

Maybe he doesn't want to go one of those clubs again and be fighting for playing time with so many other high profile forwards...

He would be a guaranteed starter here easily.

All his issues have stemmed from not playing. At Juve he's going to get that continuity coz he's going to be the best striker on the team. That apart, if the project is good, and if he sees a cultural fit (can see him prefer Italy to England), he will be willing to make a compromise to move IMO. I think we'll offer him 7m plus bonuses or something to that effect if we are genuinely interested.

PsG is possible, depending on who the next coach there is. I think he's already linked with Monaco but he has turned that move down coz he's more interested in Juve's offer if rumors are to be believed. Also let's not forget, Mancini is being considered by both those teams.

Argentina is also realistic, but when you see that he's only 29 years, that kind of move can wait, especially considering he will still get to play in the CL and the world cup is coming up next year. Tevez is too big a player to shorten his career prospects just yet. Maybe in 2-3 years, Argentina can see out his playing days or lack of ambition, but for now, a challenge like Juve would be very tempting. Let's see. Although if we could snap him up, I think the team would be suitably reinforced not just for Serie a, but more importantly, Europe too.

Looks like there are a lot of forwards on the market this year for the first time in a few seasons.

This is our best chance to get a top striker for a while.
