I'm sorry, what you said is true but the Tiago and Melo saga have done enough damage to Marotta's selling reputation in my eyes.
really??! Players he didnt buy, one which was made of glass and the other a complete nutjob...

Getting melo as far away from the team as possible is what matter to me, getting rid of his salary is well done i my mind.

Nah, bro. The whole world was after Melo and were willing to shell out €20M, no questions asked. It was Marrotta who deliberately sabotaged it because he wants to hurt Juventus.

Tiago and Melo was having a considerably good season in their loan terms. The fact remains they both didn't get sold, I'm not even questioning their selling price. He could done a great job getting rid of Melo for two seasons, but he can't sell and Melo is coming back at the end of this season.

Anyway, it's my personal view--the actual jury is still out until next summer transfer window closes. Let's see whether he'll get good enough money (any of our current forwards barring Anelka and Bendtner should've good potential in the market) or not.

Yes. He's 30 and rather inconsistent player. I like him as I like every talented player but for 15M taking previous reasons into consideration I would say yes.
I also think so,i would sell him and Matri.one or both of Quag/Gio can stay,if only one to stay i would go with Gio.

Higuain-Llorente-Jojo-Gio-Diamanti/Quag will be a great forward line imo.

If we had more money and if there were enough offers for our forwards I would sell them all. Honestly they are all mediocre. Vucinic is the only one who can produce something but he does it on rare occasions. Ljajic, Muriel, Llorente, Ibra would be my pick and I would use our youngster Beltrame as 5th choice. Also Berardi is the one to keep an eye on.

Higuain (22M), Jovetic (15M + Matri), Diamanti (6M + youngster), Lodi/Poli (4M), Bonera (free)
= 48M cash + Matri + youngster

Buffon
Storari
Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Bonucci - Chiellini
Padoin - Caceres - Bonera - Peluso
Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio
Pogba - Poli/Lodi - Asamoah
Diamanti - Higuain - Jovetic
Pepe - Llorente - Vucinic

Out: Giaccherini, De Ceglie, Giovinco, Quagliarella, Isla, Iaquinta, Bendtner, Anelka, 1/2 Marrone
= ~25M worth of sales (and their wages of the books)

48M in = 20M out = ~25M expenditure

We win the treble :weee:

Okay enough FM for me today. :D

lol no thats now how football works :D

You dont sell your by far the most important player, for crap. Next season if Llorente takes over his role, we can consider this

No one will offer that much so he'll stay :D. I don't deny his importance but I would sell him if we had some better solution waiting and that couldn't be realised before his sale.

But hey it's not impossible.looks good we even can get an LB/LWB with these deals.to make it ~40M total.
Isla can stay if we continue his co-own deal for one more year without paying.
And Gio stays over Mirko we can make more money from selling.

overall looks good:)

Realistically this probably how we're going to look:

Buffon
Barzagli Bonucci Chiellini
Lichtsteiner Vidal Pirlo Marchisio Asamoah
Diamanti
Llorente

:sigh:

It's better than what we have this season, but not good enough.
