I believe we will get rid of the 3-5-2 next year, It's a good formation but the potensial of 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 is alot better. I believe that Conte uses 3-5-2 because it's the best formation for our type of players. We lack offensive players to play the systems I mentioned, but I hope and believe we will fix that in this mercato.
You think Juve are trying to sign Higuain with a view to having him or Llorente on the bench the whole time?

Can't see Juve having bench players earning over 4m a season any time soon.

Seriously, remember how vucinic is "so important for juve's attack" ?

Llorente does that much better in a diffrent way, and is a good finisher.
And then you have an amazing #9 like Higuain.

Offcourse those will play togheter, i cant understand why people would advice against.

Probably same people who said vidal would bench marchisio, or that asamoah would bench marchisio

I believe Conte wants to bring this team to the next level, Serie A is a done mission, we are levels above the rest. And if we want to take the next step and be a team that can win the CL, then we need to have 2 great attackers, both will get their playing time. Just look at Man Utd,Barca,Real,Bayern. This is the level I belive Conte is looking for. If we are happy with Serie A we can buy Floccari next year and still win Serie A.

If salary is the thing, then let's play Iaquinta he earns near 4 million euro :D

If Higuain arrives with Llorente, (I can safely assume that Anelka, Iaquinta, Bendtner are no longer with us), that leaves us with: Llorente, Higuain, Vucinic, Giovinco, Matri, Quags.

Now, one of Quags or Matri is highly likely to leave. Higuain would cost us around EU25m in transfer fee I guess and would have a salary of around EU3.5m net a year. If one of Matri/Quags leaves that could give us around EU8-10m in transfer fee if we are lucky.

So interms of net outlay? It would be EU15-18m.

Wages? Llorente I think will be on EU3.5m a year net as well - so both the new forward will have a collective NET wage bill of 9m or (EU18m gross wage expense for Juve).

However, Iaquinta is costing us EU5.6m gross (or EU2.8m net) and either Matri or Quags is making EU3.6m gross or EU1.8m net. Bendtner was also similar in terms of wages. In total there is a saving of EU6.4m net (or EU12.8m gross).

Overall our wage bill for the forwards increases by ~EU5mpa (gross).

We could live with that strikeforce.

However, if we wanted to upgrade it further by UPGRADING on one of Vucinic or Giovinco by targetting a support striker like, Suarez for instance, then that would cost us quite a bit unless we sold both Vucinic and Giovinco. Vucinic and Giovinco combined should give us EU20-25m, while someone like Suarez would cost us EU35m realistically. Wages for Suarez will be just under the total of Giovinco and Vucinic combined.

We could then bring in Boakye as our 5th striker. Traditionally the 5th striker should be a yound player and not a huge name.

Its hard to do, but it is POSSIBLE that Juve would have the means to have the following strike force: Higuain, Llorente, Suarez, Quagliarella, Boakye. Net Transfer outlay would be around EU25-30m and wage bill would be up by only EU5m gross. Definately possible but still unlikely as it requires Marotta to be able to sell players well! Not something he is good at.

You cannot build a team by selling allmost every single forward and getting all new ones. its why mercenary teams dont work. You do it bit, by bit.

secondly, we have no buyer for giovinco or vucinic, and pool wont accept player exchange, so this is impossible.

Technically, if we have Higuain and LLorente, we could look into adding jovetic, accustomed to serie a, by giving them quag or matri, co own a youngster, and some cash. that could work.

Milito could start at juve with the forwards we have in terms of quality.
Ofcoarse he can but now that we have llorente and will be adding jojo, sanchez or higuain to our ranks, I think it might be wiser to have a properly medically managed old yet very deadly striker like milito as our guy coming from the bench or starting when the younger lads are too exhausted than to have any of our ineffective bunch.
