Beppe Marotta Is My God

25M is a decent price for a striker of his calibre. Young, prolific and would have pretty good re-sale value as well.

I now think he is our number one target. I haven't seen/heard Marotta rule it out, and obviously Real want to get rid of him, so we'll probably look to get a bargain and knock off a few million from that price.

Higuain is definitely worth 25m, hopefully Beppe will do his job. And maybe even get him for cheaper too.

Then get zingaro and we can win the CL.

Lets say Ibra were to take that 7m wages and say psg sell him for 20m and then we go after higuain and he is willing to take 5m and his price tag is 25. Taking into account what we are obligated to asa-9m, peluso-3m, and isla-9m.( Although there are rumors we want to renew the isla loan) DO you think its possible to obtain both those strikers? 25+20+9+3=57m

Yes.

But i doubt we'll go after both Ibra & Higuain...i think we'll sign one of them and go for another more SS-type forward such as Jojo/Sanchez...

Another question would you rather get 2 very good strikersand mercato over or would you rather get a lb,back up cb, and a very good striker?

Well thats almost the same scenario because they are all within the same price range. So you think we will get 2 strikers?

Higuain, Llorente could work. I would prefer to get an SS that can play as a winger though. I love Higuain but already having Llorente...

Well we should get Iaquinta off the books too, that's an extra 3m/yr there. If we sell Matri we could get at least 10m+ and if it were up to me I would sell Gio and De Ceglie too. Also, if we can manage to scrape a few mil up from Melo, Ziegler etc that won't hurt.

Ibra I think would cost maybe 15m + 7m/yr at lowest and Higuain 20-25 + 3-5/yr so say 35m outlay + extra 10m year wages. If we get rid of a few like I said we could clear up at least 6-7m/yr plus get ~25m for sales. And don't forget, these players would bring in additional merchandise, maybe sponsors and success in CL too. i.e. increased revenue.

I don't know what other obligations we have and what we have available to spend, but with those figures I don't think it's too far fetched....

1.LB,back up CB and very good striker.(because we already have LLorente).
2.Yes,or at least i hope so,but i do think it's possible.

When viewed isolated, I like the idea of getting Higuain. And somewhere between €20-25M would be very nice. I have a hard time seeing how he fits in after the transfer of Llorente, though, but I'm not gonna look a "gift" horse in the mouth.

A strike force of Llorente, Higuain, Vucinic, Giovinco and one of Matri/Quagliarella would be more than an adequate development going from 2013 to 2014.
