Last season we wanted to have a partnership of Higuain and Suarez, and none of the clubs wanted to sell them. We might be able to bid for them this season, but we have Llorente already and we do not find the need for that already.

both are technically good players and comfortable with the ball at their feet.
Yes Higuain loves to work hard and track back. He's also played right side in a 4-3-3 multiple times this season with success. He's better with the ball than he's given credit for probably because of his size and his reputation as a pure striker as well. Good striker to have if you're looking for flexibility and reliability.

On wages, be reminded of a few things:

Iaquinta is costing the club EU5.6m in gross wages (he makes just under 3m net). Quagliarella and Matri cost the club EU3.6m each. Bendtner and Anelka cost the club around EU3m each as well....although Anelka was only for 6 months so thats more like 1.5m.

The combined wage cost of all of Juventus's forwards is around EU30m a year at present which is less than 30% of the total player wage cost (thats actually reasonably low compared to other teams where the strikers command the really big wages).

So lets look at this. If we assume Anelka, Iaquinta and Bendtner leave - Juve save around EU12m in wages. If Juve sells one of Matri or Quags, the total saving would be EU15.5m.

Llorente will cost Juve EU9m in wages. Giovinco, Vucinic, (Quags or Matri), Llorente = 4 strikers. Should Juve now go for the 5th and say its a big name....we have EU6.5m in wages for this player to have exactly the same wage bill.

This is why Ibra is doable. Marotta has offered EU7.5m in NET wages which would cost the club around EU15m in wages. The net result is a wage bill thats only EU8.5m more than last season = less than a 7% increase for the whole wage bill combined.

The tricky thing would be if Juve go for Ibra/Higuain AND a winger like Nani or Sanchez.

Nani's wages would be somewhere in between Llorente's and Ibrahimovic's - say he makes EU5m net and costs the club EU10m. We could fund that in part by letting Isla go who is costing the club EU7m gross.

So bottom line, if Juve offloaded Isla, Quags, Bendtner, Anelka and Iaquinta - we save around EU19m in wages. Llorente, Ibra and Nani would cost EU30-35m in wages. So the wage bill would be up by EU10-15m which is is around 9-13% more than last season for the whole squad. A Buffon pay cut could reduce that amount to a 6-10% increase in wages.

But revenues SHOULD be up.

But if you think about it if Juve is paying 10% more in wages for these players, what a difference the side would be in terms of class. Imagine:

-------------------Buffon------------------

Lichsteiner----Barzagli----Bonucci---Chiellini

------Vidal----Pirlo----Marchisio/Pogba-----

Nani-------Ibra/Llorente------Vuci/Giovinco/Asa

Bench:
Storari
Caceres
Pogba
Asamoah
Pepe
Llorente
Giovinco

That would be a VERY strong team - and certainly better than a 10% increase in wages

Sometimes i wonder if people watches Real madrid games, the ones that say that Higuain is tecnical and clinical :howler:

I've yet to meet a RM fan that appreciates what Higuain brings.

I said it is a dream not a reality
As for wages
Ibra 7.5 Silva 5 Suarez 6.5 Llorente 3.5 overall 22.5
Quag or Matri is around 3 De Ceglie 2 Giovinco 3 Marchisio 3 Anelka 2 Bendtner 1.5 overall 14.5
Overall +8 on wages which is doable

Anyway its wishlist not just whats going to happen as Im sure that we wont be getting Suarez and Silva...

Fixed. I like this but getting both Ibra and Nani is unrealistic no matter how you look at it. Only way to do it would be some massive sales I guess. Both Quag and Matri would have to leave as well as Isla who was barely used this season. Iaquinta, Anelka and Bendtner will be gone though that's a good thing.

I watch RM week in and week out because the majority of my freinds are RM fans and whenever i see him he's missing easy chances, he looks clumsy and he doesn't participate in the build up play.
He has nothing in Llorente bar the age factor, his scoring record is good but any striker playing for RM will score.

Don't Fiorentina have Cuadrado pretty much under wraps?
No idea honestly, I just fell in love with him this season :D

Isla is playing next season, no reason to invest in that viola rat.
Isla was brilliant at Udinese, but here... his agent even said how he's unhappy cause he didn't even get the chance. I'm not sure we'll end up buying him tbh.
