Llorente-Higuain would be a crazy pairing, but if Mourinho could fit Eto'O and Milito in one attack, I can't see why Conte wouldn't be able to deal with them. We'd need someone capable of crossing the ball though, bring back Balzaretti?
He was a considered a pure striker till Inter, I agree about technical, but he never played on the wing or as a SS in Barca, even when they had Henry and Larsson and was whining till Christmas in his first season at Inter while playing on wing. I'm not saying that we should put Llorente or Higuain on the wing, but it's entirely possible that a good coach can find a way to field both of them, both are clearly very talented and great attackers.
Henry, Messi or Ronaldinho, mainly the latter two, especially Ronaldinho, who when he slowed down alot, spent like half a season playing central, with Eto wing SS.

Your point stands since Higuain nor Llorente can play anything but strikers, Eto'o was flexible enough player to to do go wide, even if ofcourse most deadly as central striker.
I'm actually one of them Kenny. We already have Llorente. The Higgy ship has sailed me thinks. Need to invest more wisely and that would mean SS. The proverbial #10. Ibra-Llorente. Suarez-Llorente. Higuain-Llorente? Don't think so brah. Nani. Ibra. Close mercato and fap the fuck away.
I say we stick to the 3-5-2 thats been so successful so far and keep the 4-3-3 as a very rarely used plan B (which we can do when Pepe recovers).
Spend all the money on a world class SS or save the money for next season when a chance for a world class SS is available. A formation that got us two consecutive scudetti, a super cup, a coppa italia final and CL QF exit should not be changed especially that all of the aforementioned was achieved without an attack. A 3-5-0 almost.
I'd have agreed to the switch had we exhausted the possibilities of our very stable 3-5-2 and reached its peak (which we arent even close to doing). The thing is that we might have progressed to the semis had we not played Bayern. Pogba and Vidal's growth and the increased chemistry between our players will give us a boost next season that is not mentioning the addition of llorente.

The more I read of your posts the more I'm convinced that you're far more insane than B81. The Higua ship has sailed? If Higuain will come it means that Llorente is a back up, no way in hell that is a negative thing.
