We have had a LB problem since 2006, I'd say it's quite pressing.

we can make do with what we have in the mean time in terms of LB. i seriously cringe at the thought of us spending most of the summer and money chasing anyone other than a attacker this summer

Even though it might say "LB" next to his name, Coentrao is hardly that - he isn't really known for his defensive exploits. He's pretty much a LM/LWB kind of dude. But we need that so we can use Peluso exclusively as a LB instead of LWB so he doesn't get caught out high up. Peluso will be a very decent pure LB, I should think. Having his area of responsibility shrunk will suit him.

I don't agree, he plays great defensive matches when on top of his game and he's a good tackler. He started as a left midfielder but he adapted just as well to the left back position.
