If that happens, then there should definitely be contract renewal for him. That would be an absolutely shameful, awful, and disgusting mercato.

I know Marotta has a ton of excuses up his sleeve, but even with constraints, such a mercato would be entirely unacceptable. Zero quality, more depth, and no upgrades whatsoever = gargantuan fail!

His contract will end in 2015.. Think he'll cost around 10-12 million, 2 much for a player of that age.
But he scores goals, last 2 seasons (2011/12 and this season) 61 games, 34 goals.
