id welcome Zaza as a rotation option for that ST role.. Could get a few chances and if he impresses Conte he could get the chance regularly like Pogba was introduced.. If we sell one of Matri and Quagliarella we'd have four ST with Llorente, Vucinic, Quagliarella, Zaza.

Zaza would be taking the Anelka spot, so to speak, but he's an emerging player so he would get some chances if not 10..

I'd only want Zaza to stay with us if he gets some good playing time though. If we were to keep him with us, we have to have faith to put him on the field (El Shaarawy) not let him rot on the bench like Anelka is currently doing so.

Giovinco, Vucinic, Matri and Quagliarella all get some significant playing time. If one of Quag or Matri were to leave this summer, I'd want to see Zaza get some good amount of time as well.

@Mark who did PsG get for 20m?

Nvm and I thought PSG bought Ibra for around 30

I just looked it up and PSG paid around 25m
I thought it was closer to 20m. If it's 25m then we could get him for around 18m.

Ibra at 18-20m or Sanchez at 27m? Not even worth asking.

Ibra at 18-20m or Suarez at 35m+?

Ibra at that price that or JoJo at 30m+?

At this point, I honestly believe Ibra is more realistic than Suarez. Especially after Nedved's comments. Few journalists & sporting directors have already said that it is Nedved who is pushing for Ibra.

Btw, the aftonbladet-Conte "quote" was faux.

    Conte wants to coach him
Pavel says you'd be nuts to not want him back. Said he's top 3 in the world.
    Raiola is his agent.
Ibra starting his little games when he's close to leave a club

    ...

    and then

    so who knows. :p
+ Ibra said he wants to end his career in Italy.
+ Raiola said he was at Juve HQ, but not to talk Pogba.

+ Ibra never complained about Juventus
+ He liked Turin as the city
+ For him it's not just about money.
+ If he is feeling like when he was in Barcelona he will rather quit football than stay there.

    :tuttosport:
Conte and Ibra would be a match made in heaven there both winners and I think they'd get on very well.

However I won't delude myself with Ibra because with him we'd be one of the strongest teams in the world, we'd be up there with the best without any doubt.

Regarding wages, I assume we'd have to offer him heavy bonuses like 5 million base, then a further 6-7 million on winning the champions league and league perhaps?

    Deep down, everyone wants Ibra.

suarez isnt even worthy of polishing his boots
Why not? the much younger and still developing Suarez is carrying Liverpool on his shoulders in almost the same manner Ibra is carrying PSG. If anything Suarez has less support and tougher competition to deal with.

Further, while Suarez isnt participating in the CL, he stepped up in the world cup and the coppa america for the big occasion.
There is absolutely no reason to think that Suarez is not world class or does not have the mental strength to win everything. Why you'd prefer a 32 year old ibrahimovic over Suarez is beyond me. We are already dominating Serie A without a single good striker and Ibra is a league player.

    :howler:

Fuck Zaza. Sanchez on a loan + option to buy from Barca + Ibra would be awesome. I still want Muriel tho :D
Why fuck Zaza? Zaza won't come in the way of signing a top forward. The more youth players we sign the more chance we have of hitting the lottery.

Ibra for 18M would be fantastic, but the transfer isn't the problem. Its his wages. I just cant see us coming to terms with those wages.

The only realistic option I see for Juventus is Sanchez on loan, with the option to buy. And even then I'm not so sure.

Ibra - Llorente would be amazing, but Sanchez - Llorente would be great too.

I don't see the point of stockpiling youngsters, and Zaza, at 21, and still playing for Ascoli isn't really that young any more, at least by modern footballing standards. I just feel he is going to amount to nothing. Immobile is another one who will have an ok career, but become nothing spectacular. Quote me on that :D

My post only mentions that suarez isnt of the same quality then zlatan.

Zlatan is a 9.5, suarez 8. but the little bits matter at the top
