Benzema would be an amazing signing but unrealistic considering his wages.Besides ,i dont think he'll go for anything less than 30m imo.

Not really, barca & real are good at selling players at a loss. Zidane convinced him to join to real & if his time was close to an end over there, i'm sure the french connection would do the work.:D

I know. However, he is well known now, thanks to his exploits with Swansea. Hence, he I believe he is a big fish in a small pond. I don't think he will be able to replicate that form with a Chelsea, City, or United. Kinda reminds me of Papis Cisse and Demba Ba. Very good players for mid-table clubs, but not someone you want to be leading the line if you harbor ambitions of fighting for titles. Michu is kinda like Giovinco @ Parma.
maybe in the premiership and maybe amongst a few la liga fans but he is certainly not not a name well known throughout the continent im sure

I can fully assure you ,with the kind of form Michu is in,he'll easily go above 25m by the summer imo. While we're at it why not spend a few million more and buy a better marketable player like Jo-Jo ?!
nah swansea won't ask for that sort of money remember they only paid 2 mill for him and only 1 season in the premiership if he were to move i think swansea would happily accept a bid of around 10-15 mill.

We've really only seen him as either a lone CF or playing behind the main CF. He has all the attributes of a good modern striker: Good movement, physical presence and very cultured finishing. But whether he could play tight, tactical games as part of a two man strike force is a different matter.

Regardless, he'll be crazy overpriced anyway. :)

I strongly disagree. Michu strikes me as a "big fish in a small pond." If he comes here, he will be good, but we have enough average to good players. We need exciting and spectacular, someone who makes the difference. Michu isn't that type of player.
You'd think that now, untill you'll see him play.

And why exactly isnt Sanchez a big fish in a small Udinese pond that has already tremendously flopped with one of the easiest teams to score for fun when you are playing with in a mickey mouse league of poor defenders?

Because Messi starts crying if you score instead of passing to him.

thing is you would think if Michu is a big fish in a small pond he would have been just as good or better when he was at rayo

There is very little value left in that 'dead wood'. Bendtner, Iaquinta and Anelka would be out of contract, Martinez is now worth next to nothing, Motta a couple of million max, and Melo we have mostly soaked up his value already in loan fees.

He was good in his season there.

I'd rather not go with him, Rayo to Swansea to Juventus in three seasons, for any kind of large fee that's a big risk.

I am not arguing that Michu is not a big fish in a small pond. He may very well be we will never know until he plays in a big team.
What I am arguing is that Sanchez has already given more evidence (compared to Michu) to indicate that his exploits at Udine were that of a big fish in a small pond.

The chance of increase shirt sales and marketing advantages if Juve bought Jovetic is high especially if he performed well in Juve shirt.

However, what I'm afraid if Juve bought Jovetic is that because of the literary similarities between Jovetic and Juventus, ppl will be too subjective and put Jovetic as the face of Juve/the next Del Piero, overshadowing the current Juve best players such as Buffon, Pirlo, Chiellini, Marchisio and Vidal. While in term of contribution to the team, he might not be better than those players.

Become a golden boy of Juve because of the similarities of the name might also increase the chance of envious from other Juve players because they will feel less appreciated by the fans/crowd compared to Jovetic. the worst case is if he is treated as Messi in Barca who I believe Messi feels he is already bigger than Barca itself

And of course because of his history of injuries and the price tag which obviously wont come cheap (probably around 20+ till 30ish)

Juve better spent the cash to purchase other not overrated player(s)

My wishlist for next season: Full ownership of Boakye and ?Sorensen? , Pirlo tutoring Marrone and Pogba to be his apprentice and retired after WC2014 (to make sure Pogba and Marrone will happily stay in Juve as there's more space and chance to play in the midfield of Juve)

I think you are looking too much into Juve buying Jovetic.

 at that guys wishlist. It's not really a wishlist if you are hoping for what we already have :D

I really like Michu. He is a very good player. However, for 15-18 million, if not more, we are much better off getting off someone else. Michu isn't going to make the difference here. We need to be more ambitious, and look at better players.
