comments?

personally I believe the 1st team is much more complete tactically and better.

and the 1st team is much more closer to 97-98 juve than the 2nd.

or the 3rd option is like the 1st but instead of sanchez and jovetic, we can get suarez but with cheap SS in the bench.

Between Falcao and Suarez who do you guys thing is better?

I think they are comparable now as Suarez is scoring nearly every game and essentially changing the way he plays to lead the line

i just checked his stats for this season. so far

EPL: 22 games 11G 8A
CL: 4 games 1G
FA Cup: 4 games 1G

that's pretty impressive. can someone who actually watches both arsenal and juve play give opinion on whether he would sit the team? that means you @Fred Weasley. badass devil need not apply
Thats largely due to the huge drop in quality the EPL is going through. He has been one of our best players this season, but thats hardly an achievment when your competition is Giroud, Podolski and Arteta. He's still extremely inconsistent, he still goes missing for large chunks of the game, his technique and general intelligence are both lacking. However, he's become a fantastic finisher, he's also improved his crossing substantially. He struggles a lot in games against teams who play a deep defensive line and don't offer the opposition much space, but on counter attacks and when he gets space, he's deadly, his movement, pace and finishing are his strong points.

I wouldn't go after him if i were Juve, I doubt he'd cut it in the Serie A to be honest.

Different type of players, but I'd say that they're both playing on the same level.

Falcao is more of a modern day forward who can be a point of reference for the attack, but also has the ability to create for himself. He's very clinical infront of goal, and usually just needs one good look to bury the chance. Inside or outside the box, Falcao is a goal threat. Low powerful drives, Free kicks, Headers, Rockets etc....... the guys scores any which way. Despite his stature, he's also quite good at in the air. Atletico Madrid paid 40 (or 45?) million euros to land him from Porto, and I think they would want to make a profit of 10-20 million before selling him. If I'm not mistaken, the release clause for Falcao is somewhere around the region of 60 million euros. Athletic are on course to finish 2nd in La Liga, and will qualify for the CL. I'm not sure if they need to sell him, but I think they are quite heavily in debt. The big spenders will be fighting for his signature in the summer; I'm sure we would'nt be able to match the transfer fees and wage packages being talked about.

Suarez, even though he is deployed as a "9" in the Uruguayan NT (and also at Ajax), I've always thought is more of a support striker. The guy has excellent close control of the ball, and is hard to disposses. IMO Suarez dribbles the ball just good as the Agueros and Hazards of the world. I love the way he destroys/embarrass defenders with his brilliant dribbling. He would provide the creativity and consistency we lack in the final 1/3. Although he's been proligate in front of the goal at times, he still scores a shed load of goals due to his creativity and movement, as evidence this season and during his Ajax days. All that aside, the thing that really impresses me, is his inhuman stamina. The guy will chase for every ball the entire game. He gives 200% every game. So far he's carried pool on his back this season and last; who knows how much longer he'd tolerate missing out on the CL in his prime years. Pool look unwilling to sell, but he could force a move. For the right price, I believe they'd sell him. He'd perhaps cost a bit less than Falcao.

If made to choose between Suarez and Falcao, you're pretty much splitting hairs. Either of these 2 would allow us to reclaim our seat at the head of the table amongst the european elite. As a personal preference I'd go with Suarez just because he's my favorite non-juve player ATM. I think he'd complement our signing of Llorente very well. Llorente himself, for such a giant, has a soft touch, consistently lays off great passes and has good on ball ablitlity. Luisito is the perfect player to play off him. I can imagine these guys playing 1-2's in my head. In saying that, I would'nt mind Falcao either.

No one in their right mind would be against having suarez or falcao but I think Suarez's game would suit us better given that we already have llorente. I'd be very happy with getting rid of IQ, Melo, Ziegler, vucinic, Quags, Gabbiadini's half, Immobile's half, Anelka, Bendtner, Pepe, Giacherrini and lumping all that money to get Suarez. I see the risk of him pulling a torres as absolutely non-existing. He is young and his attitude is brilliant. Opposition fans would hate us its beautiful.

How much do you think Liverpool would want for Suarez?

When you see Torres going for €50m it's starting to look like getting towards that price range. I suppose his value could drop slightly if someone turns his head and he wants to leave, such is player power.

Torres turned in a transfer request.

But I think that Liverpool will want upwards of 50. If he decides to leave, then probably 40.
