Okay people will probably go aganist what im saying but im going to say it. Sanchez is indeed a good player but what we really need right now is a finisher. Whether that finisher come in form of an ss it doesnt matter. We also need an ss because gio and vucinic are way too inconsistent. The only player that i see that is capable of both traits is Suarez. If Suarez say would be available for 40m Juve should just buy him. Why buy a player like ogbonna when we have plenty of primavera defenders and also have caceres, peluso and marrone who can all play in the defence? Also why buy more midfielders if we have so many? Marrotta isnt really the selling type so i dont see the point in trying to recruit all these players if we arent going to get some money back or at least break even. Also Sanchez is obviously not the answer. He is like the Chilean Gio. They both fall alot and they both miss a crazy amount of chance.

Sanchez, one very important thing has to be considered

He did not play the entire season "out of position". Its not like barcelona uses classic wingers, every time i saw him, he was drafting towards the center. His main issue is that barcelona isnt a counterattacking team.
Sanchez is good for a counter team, but struggles for a team that presses and makes the play
we press and make the play. and a choker thats only good on counters, we allready have at half the size.
yeah, some say he's not that bad, etc.
I'll prefer suarez or jovetic.

and please, stop thinking he'll go for less then 25 mil. the diffrence between him and suarez isnt that big at all financially

good luck with that

barcelona, 500 mil turnover, not in any need to sell. They just go like "his price is 25mil".
It's one of the reasons I don't want him.

I'd prefer Jovetic too.

Man I thought I'm the only one to see that. If Sanchez costs 25m I'd offer for Jovetic 30m easily. Suarez is out of reach imo but he'd be the best out of three. Suming it up all Jovetic for me.

i actually did counter your argument, hence the change in your tone and and rationale, which i actually have nothign against, just compare the above with:

"Sanchez would be ok for 10-15 mio max. More than that, no thanks. He's just going to make our goal scoring problem bigger... "
No, you didn't counter my arguments. You just asked me a lot of questions to make me add more to arguments. You never wrote your arguments for getting Sanchez.

Well, he is going to make our goal scoring problem bigger - certainly not smaller. He's a big clusterfuck in front of the goal, or at least he has been that for this season.

I asked a couple of pages back, I'll ask again how much do you think Liverpool will ask for Suarez and what wages?
sorry, missed it.

Well, by "going for suarez" i dont mean we can actually sign him, but we must attempt the scenario

Pool isnt gonna be in CL again. We should talk to his agent about how we are having a better team just lacking him, etc.

what we want is suarez wanting to leave liverpool.

i guess 30/35 mil and 6mil wages+bonus could do.

its an extremely unlikely scenario, but if you think sanchez will go under 25 mil you are delusional.

We should definatly try for him, for the odd chance it might work.

realistically speaking, Jovetic is the only possibility

No I don't expect Sanchez to cost less than 25mln, but if you think Suarez will come for less than 40mln than you might be the delusional one. :D

hes better than what we currently have by a wide margin, he can create more and defend more than any potential SS we have right now
That depends on what Sanchez we get. The Sanchez that is playing right now in Barcelona is not a lot better than what we have and certainly not worth a 25M investment. Sure, if he was guaranteed to turn to the level of Udinese, then we could talk about it. But that is far from safe.

if it was safe he wouldnt be available to us and certainly not at that price, theres a reason why hes a realistic target
