And after people bitching about him being a mercenary, when those excuses dry up those same people will blame Pescara for not accepting our inadequate offer (especially when another club easily met the asking price).

:howler: loyalty.

prick was whoring himself out to Juve for 6 months.

bullshit, even Marotta said they were very interested in him.
yes. And I supposes it's also his fault Juve never met the asking price Pescara were asking for.

Good reasoning, Ahmed.

And here we find ourselves, like we do with every mercato, a select few bashing other players & clubs for not accepting our penny pinching offers. I guess in the business world, if it doesn't mean accepting an offer from Juventus, even if it completely destroys your financial stability of the club, it's ludicrous.

In the world of soccer players/clubs: sign for Juventus, no matter the offer, or suffer the verbal abuse. (aimed about both players and clubs)

^ what a retarded post.

12M for an unproven Serie B player, are you fucking serious and putting this one on Juve?

that's more than we fucking paid for Vidal.

What I find hilarious is this:

People hail Marotta for his low spending habits and building a great team (which I agree with, obviously) but it also looks like some of those same people have no problem bashing other clubs for trying to do the same...running a tight & well budgeted business/operation.

It's ok for us to do it...but not others.

On the flip side, when we try and sell our trash players and other clubs aren't willing to meet our asking price they either attack Marotta for failing to sell our fringe players...yet, more abuse to the other clubs for not meeting the price of what we want for our players.

So, why not bash your own SD for failing to offload the players at "daylight robbery" prices, yet insult other clubs for doing the exact same thing? :howler:

we've already won about 20m euros from our cl achievements this year. going to the semi finales will get us 5 more. that money should be about enough to cover up all the undone dills we have to get done this summer. i don't think we should keep isla what so ever, not good enough IMO
you do know that we have expenditures to cover in the meantime? Cl money doesn't mean it will go straight to the transfer funds

So, I guess we should write a "How to value your own players" manual for all clubs to follow, since its stupid that other clubs don't do the same thing as we do.

You know what's funny about this whole situation?

Pescara might have overvalued this young unproved Serie B player but they still got their 12m asking price met.

But it's Pescaras fault of course for looking out for their own interests? :dielaugh:

Verratti a mercenary?

I'm not against you, I don't think Veratti is worth 12m and I'm glad we passed on that 'opportunity' . If Ancelotti leaves and Veratti decides to come here, I hope we arrange a price of 8m for him and get him.
