We also have Llorente, Marchisio, Ogbonna.
Llorente and Ogbonna aren't cms.

They're also able to afford such a team. We're not.

Also, Padoin is the kind of player we need.
It won't be a straight cash deal. Marrone+Beltrame+Cash

Nainggolan is also the kind of player we need. We've always had (physically) weak backup cms with no 'bite' like Vidal etc.. Nainggolan would be a really good addition. He could even start tbh.

Vidal-Nainggolan-Asamoah possesion 90%

Vidal-Nainggolan-Asamoah might be 100% physicality, but it's really low on creativity as well.

Nainggolan is a really good ball winner, a pitbull in midfield with decent passing range, but he can't be trusted to play in a Pirlo style role for us IMO.

Nani would be a way better buy. Coentrao would be a way better buy than Nainggolan. We are stacked in midfield and I hate how people say Asamoah is stuck to the lwb position. If for example Pepe or Peluso or Padoin, played lwb than Asamoah would probably be used as a cm to rest one of mvp

Point.

We need a Verratti.

Also, we can't expect Pogba to remain here for more than 3-4 seasons. RM will eventually blow the world transfer record with him.

I think Nangoillan is a good choice for now seeing that Pirlo will be around for the season.

Pirlo might leave next year
Or he might not. I assume we are talking about signing Nainggolan for this year, anyway.

Marchisio is inconsistent, Pogba regardless of his talent is still a youngster, Asamoah is playing as LWB and will continue this year, the likes of Marrone and Padoin aren't good enough even for a bench. Padoin is more suited to play as RWB as he had some decent games there.
Doesn't really matter how you dress it up or lies you add, we have a lot of good CM options already, and after that ones that are fine to play a quarter-third of the season.

What resources? They were talking of a swap deal including Marrone and Beltrame. They aren't exactly the hottest commodity around.
Yeah, we're not getting him for that offer. That's about €10m worth of players tops, and I seriously doubt we are going to give Cagliari the full contract of either player.

What prospects do we have there? Appelt is not good enough. His physique is poor. Buoy, Kabashi? I can't see any hot prospect lurking around ready to break into our senior team. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'll bow to your superior knowledge of Appelt but he, Bouy, Kabashi, Schiavone, Sakor, Cavion and Cevallos are all amongst our most highly rated youth assets in their age categories. We are talking about players that are fighting to be 5th or 6th choice, after all, given the above.

What big salary? He would get something like 3m per year and sales of Quag, Matri are more than enough to finance that. Even regardless of their sales we could afford him.
Already explained, put that salary elsewhere. Otherwise you have a lot of salary allocated into one area of the team. If you add Nainggolan and the impending salary increases to those players Juventus are going to need to pay €35m-€40m per year just for the CM area. Considering we are now paying Tevez nearly €10m and Llorente €8m I'd debate statements like 'we could afford him'. He'd be a luxury for this season, which is just another word for stockpiling.

In return we would get good established player, fairly young who will probably generate lot of interest in years to come and would be valuable addition to our midfield. Having Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Pogba and Nainggolan and considering our ambitions this year which are I believe familiar to all of us would give us more competitive edge.
For me it's too much for one season, without an additional offensive winger 'wild card', which would be more useful. If Pirlo is to go next season then get him then and move Pogba. I just don't see how this is working, are we suddenly going to rest Vidal for 30% more games, or Pirlo for 30% more and move Pogba there? Is Nainggolan going to play just a third or half of games? Can't see it.

I actually think Marotta is very keen on Nainggolan, and he is a very good player, but we have become a bit obsessed in the CM area. As it is, a one-in one-out policy makes most sense. I'm not going to get tied up in future scenarios because it's guesswork, just judging based on our current squad.

if Marchisio can't stay fit and/or returns to his levels of earlier in the year we will need another CM bad.
Cm:Marchisio, Pogba, Asamaoh, Pirlo, Padoin, Marrone, Vidal

If we loan/co-own/sell Marrone that leaves us with 6 cms. Asamoah plays as a lwb so that leaves us with 5 cms for 3 starting spots. We are covered and if you need another cm push asamoah to the cm position and put peluso/de ceglie/pepe in the lwb position

If, if, if...

I get it, we should stockpile quality back ups just in case the first choice ones get injured. We should sign Verratti as back up to Pirlo, Casillas as back up to Buffon, or Sanchez as back up to Tevez, because after all we are pretty fucked if any gets an injury or mysterious loss of form that apparently renders them useless.

Exaggerated example, but see the point in this method of thinking, where does it end? We don't have the money to make this Man City or Real Madrid real life Panini collection a reality.

Peluso, Padoin, De Ceglie etc..

wow great quality there forza italjuve
Interestingly those are the LWB options after Asamoah...so would you still prefer to put that outlay on Nainggolan...?
