Everybody is obsesed with that formation because that is THE formation in the world today. Bayern, Real, Chelsea, United, Dortmund, almost every big team play in that formation.
I don't think his defensive abilities allow him to fit as a Juve CM (box to box midfilder/regista)

I know man, but Juve won't play it like that. Mostly 'cause it's impossible for us atm due to our current squad. We'd need to add a CAM, a RW and a LB. Imagine, we can't even add a WC ST, now adding 3 WC pieces... should be the plan for the future, if on this mercato we land a RW and a LB the next we'd just need a WC CAM. But who knows, maybe by then another formation will be the mode. If we want to play with a 4-back, our only option is 4-3-3, and it's not bad at all, we've played nice football with it

Not as disappointing as having Matri on our first squad tho

We never had issues with the defense or midfield, so adding tevez and Llorente upfront to what was a luck luster strike force is obviously a smart move.

Then add nani for what could be 10 or so mill, ogbonna for depth in central defense with caceres as well. Midfield depth is more than fine. Pepe Gio giacc etc...vucinic as well...keep quags too. We suddenly have something to cheer about.

Our best left sided defender is a fullback.
we have no wingers.
Our defence works fantastic with a 3man backline.
We got a striker that can both play alone and with an SS around.

Seems like 3-5-2 should be our formation, unless you are on drugs
