So for you ,one day he goes from being a sack of shit to being the 2nd best AM in the league in the other ? Seems legit.

As for your question,Totti,Pjanic,Hernanes,Valero,Ljajic just off the top of my head.

Some of these names in the list might have not played at AM this season but they're way better than Diacunti is in that position.

I think if the coach wants to play a 3412 (or 4231) too then a treq is vital. Serie A lacks good treq's apart from Hamsik.

I don't rate Diamanti but frankly he's one of the few genuine treqs left in Serie A at a decent price (the rest seems obsessed with having 'B2B midfielder/drivers' instead of genuine treqs)

Totti plays on the wing, idem Ljajic. Hernanes Valerio and Pjanic play much deeper I think although I do think Hernanes and Pjanic played that role before. They would pricey too I guess but yeah they're better.

So if we want a treq, Diamanti would be a logical choice. Knows the league, content with a bench role and I guess.

Doesn't mean I rate him but from a rational perspective it would make sense. I hope we don't sign him though.

Just my 2 cents..

Can you stop getting stuff out of context, and act like you are the biggest idiot to ever live, trying to make a point ?

Ronaldinho, had 3 and a half great years at the very top. And thats it.

Do you want a list of players that had a fraction of his talent and won far mor then he has ?

3 league wins in european league's
1 championsleague
1 world cup and a confederations cup.

We are talking about a player who togheter with Ronaldo were named as the best brazillian players since pele.

and that is all he won
How much has Buffon won, arguably the best GK of our generation? Yeah, even less. The WC is all that matters and no one will give a shit about the rest of the trophies. The point is, Ronaldinho is one of the biggest legends/names in football. Bigger than Platini, whom you rate so high.

One would almost jump to the conclusion that this idiot is black :agree:
You calling me black?

Ronaldinho bigger then Platini ?:shifty:
Why didnt Ronaldinho won 3 golden balls in succession, whilst having less competition then Platini had ?

Buffon ? Lets count the number of league titles, and the performances of his NT despite not beeing brilliantly talented(the NT).

Also, was Buffon's juventus as talent packed as Ronaldinho's barcelona ? i dont think so :)
And to top it off, the competition had dropped quite a bit comparing early and later 2000's

Lets remain realistic here please . And ALC you can stop pretending you are a juventus fan now :)

yeah, you made no legitimate points at all there.

Ronaldinho won the balon d'or in 2005, you can't ask for harder competition than the players who were around back then.

And first of all, no shit a goalkeeper is going to play more games.

Second of all, yeah Juventus was stacked for a lot of the time Buffon was with us. Still didn't win anything other than the league.

And shouldn't the competition dropping make it easier to win?

Yeah, keep thinking Ronaldinho's not one of the biggest and most recognized players in the world. Because years from now, people will remember him not winning as much CL. How many CL did Maradona win if you would care to remind me?

so why is he listed ?
From what I read, because Mou prefers the more physical players in stead if the more technical.
And, since Chelsea now has Hazard, Oscar and Mata as technical players, one of them would have to go, this being Mata.

Don't shoot the messager now, shoot the message.

As for your other post, even the Dutchies at my work are jealous on our backline, and you call them shit (except for kompany), sure thing mate.

Ronaldinho has little competition when he won the balon d'or in 2005, he had Sheva, Gerrard and whoever else.

Platini won 3 in a row and was the biggest star when Serie A was the greatest league in the history of the sport in the mid 80s.

Ronaldinho was a great player for a while, but Platini is several notches above him.
