Liverpool has a better chance winning the championship than Arsenal.

Arsenal, has to be far, the strangest team in Europe. A quality team with a quality manager and every summer they'll have a quality signing but they always just making Champions League, and that's it.
What quality do they have apart from Cazorla, a constantly injured Wilshere and Walcott?

:agree: still, is the best they have on deffense. Arteta is also fairly good.

Arsenal has sagged a lot in the last few years. The team where they had Fabregas, Song, Nasri, van Persie, Walcott, and some other good footballers is nowhere near to today's shitty team. Still that one wasn't good enough to win a title.

Mertesacker and Kos have been pretty solid the second half of the year. I'm assuming they finally gained an understanding.
Koscielny has room for improvement but I think he can become better than Vermaelen.

Mertesacker is solid enough in the penalty box but I will never understand why Wenger insists on using a high line with him as a defender, he is way to slow to play in that system.

Perhaps that's the only defensive system that Wenger knows.

Vermaelen>Bonucci (though Bonny has improved much in the last 18 months, and still has room to grow).

Perhaps that's the only defensive system that Wenger knows.
Arsenal should give 3-5-2 a go, they're made for it!

------------Mert----Kosc----Verm------------
---Sang/Jenk--Arteta/Rosicky--Nacho/Gibbs---
----------Cazorla----------Wilshire-----------
------------------Ox/Theo-------------------
----------------Giroud/Poldi-------------------

Superstar? Maybe not, but the kid is talented no doubt! We saw him to very nicely in a midfield/attacking mid role last year, even got himself a goal or two. This year Conte has tried him at CB with varying degrees of success, it has all been good experience for him but he's been far from a failure. He should just get more time on the pitch to ensure that both he gets the growth and exposure to game time he needs, and that our starting boys get a well deserved rest!

agree with you, Marrone can go out only for loan deal :closeenough:, so he can get more playing time

Anyone bought the Lukaku story? GDS reported it almost a week ago and someone already posted it here, I think. The English media seem to pick it up only just now.

Well, the lack of playing time and the challenge to adept in a new position killed his chance. Let's see what he can do next season in another Serie A club.

He'll probably end up as a defender for Siena or Palermo and bounce around a few clubs
Jesus.. and PDC rode on the coat-tails of this team for freaking years trying to realise a potential that never existed.. At least Marrone has shown promise both in Serie A and in junior internationals!
