Say theoretically our budget is 40m. Higuain costs 25m. Diamanti costs 10m and Bonaventura 7?

40-17 = 23. Goodbye Higuain.
The theory behind that is easy to understand, even if you have excluded salaries. I don't think signing 2-3 squad players for less than €10m should affect our signing of a quality forward. But then I expect one forward maximum to be signed. Also don't forget player sales, the budget always hinges on that.

Bonaventura and Diamanti give you options to play 4-3-3 and 4-4-2, which has to be worth something. @Hustini

Possibly, but if we sign another 2-3 squad players I won't expect anyone else. Considering we will also probably have to pay for Peluso, Asamoah and Isla.

Bonaventura and Diamanti in CL? :yao:

No board member was quoted. So its media bullshit, get a fucking grip.
How many times has Beppe said players like Aguero, Van Persie, Higuain etc are interesting only to end up signing an Elia or a Bendtner or a Borriello... He's done that practically every transfer window so far.

His the best bang for ze buck in that list, age+quality considered I mean (since Ibra who is 7 years his senior is obviously better).

Was it an ultras-only poll? :yao:
If we disregard his cannibalistic preferences Suarez would probably be the best choice for us considering his relatively young age, enormous quality real difference maker for any team, work rate, versatility as he can play as SS and a winger on either side. Only obstacle is transfer fee. The most crucial one. How much would Liverpool want for him? He won't go for less than 40-45M imo.

Exactly.he's out of reach imo,sadly.
He will cost our whole mercato budget.
Read today that Atletico ready to offer 50mil for him after they sell Falcao...

He does seem most ideal, he can double up two roles.

The only downside to him really is how he channels his temperament.

Its a minor sideffect to getting a huuuuge boost to your team as he would be for a long time, since he is just 25 years old and world class SS. Deffo would wreck shit up in CL.

I wouldn't say getting banned for 15+ matches in a couple of seasons is a minor thing, but it all depends on how the FIGC would treat him if that possibility arose.

Suarez at Juve, I wonder... :D

Yeah how likely is it he would get banned a third of the season :p He is defenitely a nut, but not enough of a nut to pass up signing him.

He would act similarly in Italy, but IMO they are way less likely to make a huge media circus about his behaviour in Italy, how he stands out as so much in a different footie culture is part of the reason he is getting so much heat in the press IMO.
