kolarov is overrated if you ask me, the fact he scores 1/100 long range strikes that he is considered as a good player, better off getting lulic or better more...

If he wants to succeed in Europe he will discard it. That's a necessary transformation. Playing 3 at the back against Barca, Real, Bayern will always turn into 5 and we'll have one less player up the pitch.

There is no point playing 3 def against 1 attacker while your flanks are left exposed. In Italy teams play slower tempo and it works.

You cannot compare these two games as in the first game when Chelsea lost, Boas was still coach and they had bad season till than. In the second he was replaced and Chelsea knocked them out.
