Exactly.and it's possible.
I think 1 of Kolarov/Santon are very good options and will not go for more than 15mil.(Kolarov for sure,he is not playing a lot there...)
It's all we need actually with 1 SS for 4-3-3.
if we stick for 3-5-2 new LWB/LW will be needed.

anyway it's still all about 2 high quality players.no need in 5 averages.
Only thing about Kolarov he is error prone and is more suited as LWB. I watched him and defensively he is not that good.
I expect quality this season as well.

And I'm posting my reaction to it. Basically a lost of wasted energy all round.

Then we are back to where we should be. This is a discussion forum, so it happens.
But you seem to be against the discussions completely. Unrealistic transfer wishes is what make this forum. It's the opium of the people.

A lot of people are talking about the 4-3-3, but we will need a right winger for that formation since Pepe's the only one we have.

Also don't see Conte wanting to discard the back 3 that served so well.

kolarov is overrated if you ask me, the fact he scores 1/100 long range strikes that he is considered as a good player, better off getting lulic or better more...

:D

If he wants to succeed in Europe he will discard it. That's a necessary transformation. Playing 3 at the back against Barca, Real, Bayern will always turn into 5 and we'll have one less player up the pitch.

A 3-5-2 is futile in Europe though.

We need more attacking power and fluidity. Sanchez could play as a RWF. Pepe to back him up.

Isn't the reason Sanchez has failed to adapt at Barca that he's being used out of position at RW?

I would like to see the change, but not sure I agree that it's necessary.
There is no point playing 3 def against 1 attacker while your flanks are left exposed. In Italy teams play slower tempo and it works.

I think we are just reacting to our loss and looking for answers, but I believe the formation doesn't matter as much as the style and approach of play.

Napoli also did well with their 3-5-2 last year.

In your opinion. 95% of ideas here you can't discount.

I've seen a steady flow of 'sell Marchisio' posts, which suggests a growing idea that there is a chance it could happen. I thought I'd point that out. That was my participation in the discussion.

We can perhaps now talk about Messi and Ronaldo in our team, as you feel the thread entitles it.

Until Chelsea hammered them. There were games this season in Europe like home against Shakhtar and Bayern where all the deficiencies of 352 were more than evident.

The problem isn't that you are saying that Marchisio is going to stay, but more the fact that you are suggesting it isn't worth talking about.

Did you find out why we play differently compared to last year? I'm asking because it looks like it's your favorite topic :D
