guys, large fees are always an issue.

but the fact is they can be paid over several installments (mostly)

so 30 million over 3 years, is not quite bad. doable for club like juventus if it is willing to take the risk if it believes it is worth it.

but

if a player ears 10m in wage a year, that makes it 20 million a year counting taxes. club can't make installments on those. it has to pay that in a year

Even Guarin wasnt a regular starter at Porto i believe which is why he went for reasonable sum in the end.

On the other hand Jackson Martinez is like Porto's hitman. He is going to cost a hell lot of money even though he's already turned 27.These guys are masters at ripping off teams ,way better than Udinese in this aspect.

if zlatan earn 15m € a year in France he'd have to pay 65% tax. making him earn around 4m € currently :)

FROM PORTUGAL: MARTINEZ JACKSON ONE STEP FROM JUVENTUS

Colleagues O Jogo, daily Lusitanian, I am sure, Jackson Martinez will become a Juventus player, fades so the hypothesis that wanted him close to Milan.
The club Corso Galileo Ferraris would have submitted a bid of 10 million euro for the "new Falcao", displacing virtually all competitors by Barca Atletico through United, Real Madrid and AC Milan for the note.
The Rossoneri, however, if they make a right, with already serious pruning park attackers, two names that are likely to borrow from, and four levels to manage the entry of an additional level player could potentially complicate the things to Allegri, on the other hand we know, it is not the attack the problem of Milan.

10m :howler: who are they kidding.

Vidal to Bayern for Suarez funds?
By Football Italia staff

Juventus could sell Arturo Vidal to Bayern Munich in order to raise the €30m needed for Luis Suarez from Liverpool.

According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are considering a transfer merry-go-round over the summer.

Vidal has experience in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen, but joined Juve for €20m last season.

The Chilean midfielder is much-admired in Germany and Bayern Munich have repeatedly been linked with an offer for the 23-year-old.

Tuttosport suggest Juve could listen to those proposals because the €30m transfer fee would bring in enough money to coax striker Suarez away from Liverpool.

There is another side to the story, as Suarez’s agent is Pere Guardiola, the brother of future Bayern manager Pep Guardiola.

It would therefore be in his interests to see both deals go through.

-------------------------
I wouldnt do this deal. Just keep Vidal and buy Suarez. And no way in hell will suarez come for 30m
